Here's some tips for anyone going to the con from someone who lives in the area.>food optionsThe con area has a ton of restaurants (most are expensive), three grocery stores, and a mall with a food court. Most of the restaurants are on a big road near the mall called Bellevue Way Northeast.>grocery storesThe closest one to the con is called QFC and is five or six minutes west by foot. Good prices, good selection.The second closest grocery store is called Safeway, which is about 7 to 10 minutes by foot and is south from the con hotel.The third is a Korean grocery store called H-Mart, which is 10 to 15 minutes from the con hotel by foot and is to the southeast. They have meal bowls that go on 20% sale after 5:30 pm or 6:00 pm, depending on the day.Here are some restaurants worth your money:>Paddy Coyne's (Irish food) $$>Panda Express (mall food court) $>KOI Sushi (sushi, duh) $$ to $$$>FOB Sushi (sushi, but in a weird pay by weight thing. $>Fogo de Chau (Brazilian steak house) $$$$>Din Tai Fung (overpriced Chinese dumplings) $$$$>Tavern Hall (bar food, but upscale) $$ to $$$All of those are near the hotel.And if you want burgers, go to Broiler Bay (10 to 15 minute walk from the hotel, south, on Main St.) like that other anon said.
