Thought I'd make a thread for this year's Poniconi in 19th of September. Organizer here, was not expecting to see a thread, but thanks for advertizement. Hello to those finnish bronies who just hang online but do not attend any meetups or cons. A question to you: Whyyy?? These events are made for you goddamit.>>43453901For past years the attendance number has been 250, which is the limit of the venue. Most of the visitors are those who were target audience back when the show aired.In poniconi there are some children and families, which is lame I know. But we have to make some content for them because the city assists the venue for that. There are also some older G1 fans, but they are a minority.Would not recommend this con to anyone outside finland, because there is zero english content, and the event is somewhat lame compared to eurocons. Also the organizing is amateur-ish compared to the amazing professional level of the central europe.
