Hey guys, just a little amateur Brony fandom historian here. I have a question for you that I think only true veterans here will be able to answer: What on earth happened when the Brony fandom got into a fight with the Steven Universe fandom on Tumblr? I mean, the only record of that event I can find is this page

https://www.horse-news.org/2015/03/steven-universe-axis-powers-declare-war.html?m=1

Which tells the whole story as a joke and doesn’t even explain how the conflict ended, so it leaves me a little in the dark. Could any of you who were there at the time tell me in more detail how that situation unfolded and how it ended? If you can include images and links, that would be even better.Thank you for reading!

The Gems all lost to >rape.
The Princesses all lost to the Murdercock.

>a couple people on tumblr imagined up that nor/mlp/eople were going to infest their "fandom"
>except this doesn't happen
story for the ages

Nothing happened as usual.
>>
nothing memorable if you can't find anything on it.

the only thing I can recall from that is that the OG Barneyfag also seethed about SU because of VAs or some other insignificant reason (he didn't wipe their threads because SU had no GR15 "justification")
>>

It all ended with Bronies mailing a glitterbomb to Rebecca Sugar and everybody had a good laugh.

both shows suck...

and MAGA.

In SU it's implied the gems are an artificial race designed for something (probably sex)
In MLP the race isn't diagetically designed for sex, but out-of-universe they obviously are (just look at them)
This is the primary nuance between the cannon of the shows

I was in both fandoms so I couldn't pick a side

I feel like I remember the feud starting over a gender war where female Steven Universe fans being mad that men had "perverted" a show for young girls or something

>Unironically liking Steven Universe
Yikes

It has its issues. Way too much filler and inconsistent animation quality. But I think it's a great show. Sue me

NTA, but I watched it when it came out. Every episode was a masterclass in the saying "It could've been great".
>>
>>43464598
with just a few changes i feel it would legit be a 10/10 masterpiece of show

Only S1 was good, the rest just kept wasting any decent ideas again and again til the very end. At least the movie was aright.

That's 100% in jest.
