the show never would have become popular if it started off with season 4 level quality tbhon.i still like the entire show, but the tonal shift and focus is so clearly different and its obvious the original direction was forcibly shifted. the show went from mocking royalty and stuff to glorifying it, and the slapstick and light meanspiritedness from the beginning just dissapeared without a trace.
