I had a pony dream recently, and it scared me.Basically, I was in the balcony with of Golden Oaks with a pipe in my hand while listening to Michael Franks. Twilight came over and asked how I was doing. I told her that I wasn’t happy here in Equestria, and how I missed my family, friends, and felt useless taking odd jobs in ponyville. She responded by saying that my soul was dying, and I was here as a hospice to try and ease my suffering before I became nothing.I think my mind was just going schizo, but It makes me wonder, will we ever be truly happy and fulfilled, even in Equestria? I asked somepony who’s a NEET with bad physical health how they avoid depression and their response summed up to “I don’t expect anything good, and know I’m waiting until my death, when something good does happen I enjoy it though because I’m pleasantly surprised”, and they seem content enough with their life despite missing teeth due to stomach acid eroding them and etc.
