If you haven't watched every season including S8 and S9 then you are not a fan and haven't truly watched the show.

I especially believe that's it's 1000% necessary to watch EQG 1 immediately after season 3. If not you're missing the conclusion of Twilight's original character arc and your last chance to see her in her classic characterisation.Even if you want to consider seasons 8 and 9 essential, at least exclude the finales. I mean come on man they were evil as fuck on purpose. Backwards ass morals and everything. Let's make a compromise. Some episodes of 8 and 9 were good and should be watched, bit definitely NOT the finales.
