If you stop watching at season 2 you only get half her story and never get to see this angel in her full glory. Also, the later seasons have glimmy, who is really fun. But I would recommend not watching anything after the 2017 movie because they go woke and it gets really bad. And also disturbing as fuck. They even had Starlight and Trixie make a pact on camera to never learn that lesson just so they could keep having fun forever, as a promise to the audience who enjoyed classic fim that they would keep making episodes like that. Just another reason not to watch anything after the 2017 movie including your precious woke EQG "show".Also, this isn't to say the mane six stopped being fun in seasons 5-7 when they needed to bring in poochie. They were still great characters but when they grew up they left a little bit of their charm behind. A perfect little Starlight-shaped hole for poochie to fill while the mane six did their new shit.

I think I watched halfway into s3, it was fun catching premieres on The Hub or watching streams with anons. The Hub wasn't a bad network either, but I had a hard time waking up in the morning, and I also felt like the show lost its comfy vibe. I remember people attributed a lot of it to Faust leaving, but any long-running series gets like this. Specific issue for me is how the formula turned into episode's protag messing up, cut to commercial, then there's some kind of resolution towards the end. My life's already like that, I needed a better escape.
