Can /mlp/ afford a pony?
tldr, no.
>>43590921Cheaper than a woman desu
>>4359092117k a year. That's way beyond what horse people will tell you
>>43590921That looks like about halfway between a drinking problem and a car, and lots of people have one or both of those, so it's not that unreasonable.
>>43590921What's the problem? That's less than what you spend on food each month.
>>43591072The bulk of that number is from paying to have her kept at a farm that deals with all the day-to-day horse stuff for you.
>>43591003This. Cheaper than 3dpd and 10x more of a good friend.
>>43590921This is the cost of OWNING a pony. Buying a pony costs a few thousand dollars.
>>43595252So if i had a plot of land most of this would be covered
I want to kiss a pony
>>43590921Easily, but it's way too much work involved. I know first hand because my sister used to own two of them. Not really my hobby anyway, I'll stick to sapient technicolor horses.
>>43596018Especially if the land has very high quality grass. They will only require hay in winter and supplemental during the spring through autumn.
>>43596018If you get your own plot of land you need to get two horses minimum, or share it with someone else's horses. Putting a horse out there by itself is basically animal cruelty, since they need to be in a herd.
Equines r prolly amongst the best species in the world to be reincarnated as. Sure they still eat u a tiny bit but honestly most of the time ur just going to get pampered. IM sure Equestrian Ponies would be appreciative of this
>>43597618Anyone who knows better, feel free to correct me (uoh), but my understanding is that most horses on Earth are either feral, meat, run ragged on racetracks, or kept under abusive conditions, and the ones that do well enough on the track to retire to a life of fucking mares and eating grass all day, or who're kept as pets by owners who slavishly attend to their every need, are basically the 1% of hoers, maybe like the 0.1%
>>43590921>Just 12k a year or even 3k a year if you already own the land and stableThat's not too bad. I was expecting something insane like 120k a year. Then again most bronyfucks are poor as hell and NEETing or wagecucking
>>43590921>poorfags
>>43590921with a lot of budgeting... maybe?
>>43590921>replacing broken bucketswhat did they mean by this?
