Go ahead and get checked for them at the hospital, they're very easy to test for and get rid of with medicine. The reason you want them gone is mainly cuz having them makes you feel low-energy all the time since the worms are stealing nutrition from you

Your butt itches cuz that's where they lay eggs hoping you'll scratch the area and spread the eggs to someone else. Pinworms aren't a huge deal but they don't go away on their own and it's a constant (albeit very mild) daily fatigue that no one needs in their life

But now that you mention this, though, yes, I might need to get tested. I never go to the doctor pretty much at all, but I do get itchy ass.
