When I close my eyes and start listing off the Mane 6 for whatever purpose, I find AJ is consistently the last one that comes to mind, whenever I ask myself "Wait, which one am I missing...?". I honestly forget she's part of the group sometimes.

I have said this 1 million times, and I will say it 1,000,001 times: AJ would be waaay more fucking popular if she was the tallest of the Mane 6.

Such a small and simple thing would have given her a massive boost in respect and recognition. We can't help but automatically look at the tallest person in a group and treat them deferentially. She's supposed to be the strong one, the dependable one who lost her parents early so she's more mature for her age, and being tall helps the perception of all that.

Earth Ponies in general should have been consistently shown to be noticably a bit taller than other Pony types, maybe by half a head, with Unicorns and Pegasi tied with each other. (I do not support smaller Pegasi [or short Rainbow Dash] cuz it's NOT true that being smaller makes an animal lighter and therefore faster, that's a common misconception. It's actually the opposite.) Earth Ponies represent strength and the body, and being taller communicates that instantly and is SUCH a nice tradeoff to not having flight or magic. Also it would allude to them being slightly more closely related to their horse ancestors genetically than other Pony types.

If the Mane 6 were allowed to have different heights I would have made it

Pinkie, Dash and Twi should be the small ones and AJ, Rarity and Flutters' would be taller. Exact ordering within the threes is less important though Rarity should not be the outlier and IMO probably neither should Dash. I'm also not a fan of alicorn Twi being the smallest so either Pinkie or Dash should be.
