How long should it take Anon to get over the shock of being thrown into horse world to the point where he starts to feel comfortable? A couple days? A week? Never?

Their brain simply won't carehow much they want to acclimate, it'll take time for new neural pathways to establish themselves, to create new responses to the new stimuli and situations he'll find himself inAnon's brain would need to basically pull out all the old wiring it has on how to respond to humans in certain situations and spend its whole time figuring out what ponies mean in the same situation and the socially acceptable responsesAnon might find himself in a discussion with a pony where they say something mushy, but in a sincere way, but the kneejerk reaction is to assume mockery from the mushiness and in turn respond with mockery, sarcasm or derision, that whole response system would have to be replaced with a "pony response system" essentiallyIt might be more common than I think, but I don't think I've seen many greens or fics that explore, in depth, the idea of an Anon who talks back to ponies like he would to humans, basically getting complimented and saying "fuck you" cause he assumes they're mocking him, there are probably some that only have it for the first, or first few chapters before he just apologizes and blends in just fine or finds the balance immediately, I don't know one where that's the central conflict that he struggles with
