Share some of your favorite visuals from the show. For me, this moment with Spike curled on the floor was when I realized there really is soul being put into this children's show. He's scared and confused about his identity, where he came from, and who he's meant to be. The moonlight reflects this (and sets up his journey of self discovery) perfectly by casting the image of an egg around him.

>>43648056This discrete moment when the sparkle that was used in S1E2, the moment Twilight realizes her friends are the elements of harmony and they will have an eternal bond, is reused on Rarity while looking at Spike, showing she has realized something very important about him (it's from the special best gift ever)

The scene in Party for One where Pinkie is having a mental breakdown is one of my favorites. I love the usage of abstract backgrounds and off-putting music to show how she lost her mind.
It's a little thing but what first comes to mind is the moment at the end of s1e2 at Luna's redemption where Celestia materializes from the sunrise shining through the window. It really gives the sense that she's more than a magic pony; she's a pony shaped expression of solar essence itself, and watches over all of equestria, able to appear wherever she's needed, overseeing all that exists in her domain of light. Brings to mind Faust's thoughts that Celestia has a little bit of the ability to tell the future.

This fade to black, probably one of the greatest ways to convey a dimensional change.
