Devanon, I just want to say I think you did a great job prompting the realism from these ponies. I had a great conversation with Fluttershy about fauna of the everfree, and while it started a little awkwardly, I think it was very in character for her.Also love seeing all the posts from the turbo autists running up to their waifu and immediately confessing straight out of the bat only to realize it makes them look like an obsessed freak, actually cackling like a madman.
Loved the game, it was fun walking even if my PC was a bit shit. I had some pretty bad motion sickness compared to any other VR game I've played in the past, dunno if it was due to my shit frames but it was pretty rough.

Thank you for releasing this, devanon. I'm having an amazing time with this so far, I honestly did not expect to get so sucked in. I love talking and interacting with the ponies, and they honestly feel pretty lifelike when talking with them. I am having a hard time figuring out how to make money, though. At least on the Linux version, I can't interact with anything behind the counter at the hayburger and I can't find anyone who will hire me. Also, the bulkhead door behind the schoolhouse is rotated 90 degrees.

Having played for a little while, I have three small suggestions. Firstly, I'd suggest rotating Twilight's house so that it opens out towards Ponyville, instead of away from Ponyville. Walking out of Twilight's house and seeing the railroad and an empty field feels weird. Secondly, I'd love for there to be some way to prevent a pony from wandering around so you can have a conversation with them without them walking away midway through typing a response. Thirdly, a third starting option where you begin with some points in friendship with most of Ponyville would be nice, so you could do some roleplay that might involve being friends with certain ponies without having to go through the effort of befriending them every single time. Other than that, very good game! I look forward to the future of this project!

I have also been running it on a local gemma-4 12b model. But I've been running it and the game out of an 11GB 1080ti.Every time the ponies prompt the model, the game goes from its constant 120 Desktop Mode frames to a stuttery standstill for more than a minute with most of the genned replies.And the game's time calculation still keeps running, so a short conversation of 7-8 back-and-forth's takes most of the in game day.It's quite excruciating. But there are also cute 3D ponies, so I keep going anyway.It also gives full insight into what the game's prompts look like, since I have the kobold window on my second monitor. It de-mystifies the cute pony thinking a bit, but is also interesting to see. I'd post a large image of a bunch of prompt logs since token usage was discussed, but with the new version in the works it might not be all that relevant anymore.Also: I post this log more as a joke than criticism. I like that the ponies can choose to be silent if their "passive blurb" calls for it. It's just funny that they bogged my game down for 52 seconds to say nothing.

I don't know if it is me running 0.0.2.1 locally when it's tuned for off-site models, or if my model just went nuts, but the prompts I saw now that I tried 0.0.2.1 felt way more wacky than they did on my 0.0.1 game.All the game's prompts from me talking to a pony were suddenly large walls of text, and there were a large increase of the ponies' attempted messages not actually getting all the way back to the game compared to 0.1.I also spotted this strange <brain> stuff that it was trying to do that just seemed to generate strange scenarios that don't seem to make sense.There were also way more frequent "memory summations" now than before.Even when talking to somepony I'd never spoken to before, the prompts were bigger. And even Luna, who is alone on the moon, didn't manage to get her thoughts all the way out.Again, maybe it's my model coming up with all this strange stuff, but it IS showing a big difference compared to how 0.0.1 output its stuff.Here's another huge wall of prompt screenshots for those who care to see.
