I can totally believe than natural death doesn't exist in MLP world and instead of that, the Reaper Mare pays you a visit when your time in this world is up and takes you (in your flesh) to the sky beyond Sun and Moon to transform you into a new star. And because she takes you up in the flesh, ponies do not have funerals and cemeteries since they have no need in them. And that Reaper Mare is the reason why almost nopony in the show, not even villains, ever tries to just kill their enemies - perhaps she doesn't like it when the life is cut short before the time scheduled for it in her book, and angering her is a bad idea since she rivals in power Celestia, Luna, and Discord combined.This is the sort of stuff that never could be featured in the show itself because of the age rating, BUT still feels oddly fitting and right for its established setting and vibes.
