The way Miss /mlp/ works, "alternates" (alternate versions of characters) get voted to decide if they're allowed in the contest or not, if Sci-Twi wasn't allowed, it is because the board decided that she's not different enough from Twilight to count as it's own participant, therefore she already won when Twilight won. Same for the EQG versions of Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Derpy, Luna and Pinkie
