I love MLP's OC. The fandom is so creative !
Check out my OCIsn't she a cutie?
>>43659104I won't let her kill yet another OC thread with her evildoing ninjutsu! Over my dead body!
>>43658553This is my oc
>>43660956I don't think I've killed any threads by posting her. Unless someone else has posted her. got a couple of other people to draw her though.
>>43659104
>>43661476Here: >>43556496(But blaming her for crimes she didn't commit may also be exciting, I suppose.)
>>43661498Not what I thought you meant by killing a thread but tragic all the same.
Looks like she really might kill another OC thread. That Anon should be ashamed that he brought her here,
>>43661477This is some next level rendering
>>43660957thank you McCarthy
>>43662095who is this?
>>43663907A piñata
I don't think this OC thread is gonna make it.
>>43664264Hot
Not today either, Zako.
>>43660956>>43667605
>>43669347Maybe I should check what I typed before posting...
>>43669562why is her horn angled so low
>>43669787>Flaccid
>>43669787Narwhal mode.
>>43669562lol
>>43665066I mean, we are 16 years in, most of the people who would be in these threads have either turned into furries or have already posted their characters to the point the reaction is more "oh it's them again" instead of "cute pony."
>>43669347>>43669562well where are those evil friends, huh
>>43674900Perhaps we were her evilest friends all along.
>>43673499Instead of just posting a ref of your OC for the umpteenth time, why not do stuff with them?? New drawings, new lore, shit like that?
>>43675768I could, but let's get real. You see the state of this thread, you really don't want your OCs anywhere near it.
>>43675768I do post pictures of my horses doing things, but I'm also a purchaser instead of a producer so there's only so many I've got before the bag's empty and we do repeats.
honestly, this >>43673499 >>43675768 Is part of the reason I don't want to draw more images to respond to things like this >>43674900As much as I love my horses and love excuses to draw them doing things, this isn't a "A Mare Named Zako" thread or even a "Henchmare General" so I don't want to flood the thread with just my OC. I'd much rater some other people also post their ponies or at least other people's OCs that they enjoy. It feels wrong for me to just take over the thread even if I have posted the majority of the images in this thread, seeing as how I was also the one posting Nip's Pinata Pony and Vavacung's Young Queen in here.>>43675768Honestly REfs would even be welcome at this point if you guys are going to insist on keeping this thread bumped. at least it would be something. Beyond that.>>43675798Stop being a coward and post your horse, Tell us about them, try to get someone interested and stir up a conversation, you might even inspire someone to draw your horse if you tell us a story inspiring enough.Hell, I'd welcome people asking questions about my horses, because if anything, bouncing ideas like that is a good way to flesh out your characters. Helps you think of ways to write them more rich and make them actually interesting, beyond their visual design.
I was never an OCfag and characters in stories would generally stay confined to that story but AI typefucking means I've had reason to adopt ponesonas and then because they get fleshed out and reused, so they ended up a lot more like real OCs
>>43675858>I don't want to flood the thread with just my OCYou could have fooled me.
>>43675907Well, I'm sorry I ruined the fucking thread then. Hopefully this time when I fuck off I stay fucked off.
>>43675907Don't be a sperg
>>43675858honestly I just post other people's OCs I think are nice to keep a thread limping along. I've had to samefag a lot in OC threads I've started...
Okay, I'll do it. Once, a million years ago, I had an idea for a fan comic about a unicorn with delusions of grandeur, travelling through the world and collecting a barely held together group of eclectic friends. Nothing came of it, but I've made a few drawings at times when I entertained the idea of making it a reality.
>>43679649so was it narcissism, megalomania, or just pure denial that fueled Power Trip into his mad escapade? You could probably still do a few comics of it just to flesh out the characters, would be interesting to see how he even wrangled those "friends" of his to his side.
I stitched together panels on ms paint to create a clear image for my OC creation story. What do you think?
>>43681881Hold on, this version should fix some cropping issues
I love OC threads! Sad they don't tend to last long. Oh well, here's a cute piece of my pegasus and my man's unicorn
>>43682283>filenamethey are indeed, very gay horses.
>>43681881>>43681915I'm not sure what to think, other than "what".
>>43681881>>43681915>clear imageWhat could possibly be "clear" about this? Are you schizophrenic? Genuine question, this reminds me of how some schizos have disordered thoughts.
>>43673499>>43675768I write greens. I write stories of all of my mares. The stories are who they are and it exposes not just their few virtues but their many faults. This is Twilit Starsky. She grew up with her best friend. Her best friend is currently a crackhead and attacked her with a knife after she spoke out of line. The reason why her tail and mane was so long and collected leaves and dirt was because her best friend wasn't so much of a friend and stopped trying to take care of her. Thanks to mere chance, she was able to find help through an Anon who had moved back into the neighborhood because his dad died and left behind the generational home Anon grew up in. Emotionally vulnerable, she managed to visit to chill and eat food until they formed a real bond. The core idea that started her story was if it is worth sinking with the ship, or abandoning your friends if they are no longer your friends.
>>43683346To continue the autism, this is Angel Cake. Her best friend died and in her grief, his mother sent her to a halfway house that doubles as hospice for Equestrians. She was abandoned by the only family she had and, upon understanding that her friend was dead, believed that her goal was to go to Heaven to be with him as soon as possible. A childish goal that translates to she has no reason to continue living. While she is facing this crisis alone she is finding that while others are willing to talk to her about it, no one genuinely has the capacity to give her the care and level of support she needs because they all have their own issues including an older filly who is opting to die. Part of why the setting counts as hospice.Thankfully by the end she is convinced that she should not just keep living, but she should do her best so he'll be that much more proud of her when they meet again. The core idea isn't even about her, but of an older Anon who fell in love with a robotic pony that he met when he was hospitalized as a kid. Rather than let her be scrapped, his entire adulthood focused on effectively rescuing her and her sister units. From there, they created a Home. A place where they can help Equestrians in a society that is changing too slowly to handle the concerns and woes of mares that do not fit.
This is McFaggot. He isn’t gay but he is friends with anon which ,makes him gay by association
>>43683353To continue the autism further, this is Faint Prism. She accidentally hurt another foal in an orphanage and in her panic, she ran away with her best friend who has effectively been her sister. Over the years, her selfishness and fear of being alone led to her cutting off every path her friend could have had at a better life. Better to live in squalor together than to live in squalor alone. She had heavy disdain for another filly that insisted on following them because she had no interest in having more than just her one friend.Due to her poor choices and their accrued negative reputation, they got in a fight over food. Her friend died due to a head wound in a sewage entrance. The unwanted pony died cursing the world. She died, unable to do anything of consequence. Then she woke up in a box. In a different world. Her sister was happy and had a relationship with an unusual creature. The pony she had strong disdain for was also there, and also happy. To her, it was hell. She was no longer the leader. She no longer had control of her sister's life. She did not even have control over her own life anymore. There was no choice but to stick around. She eventually came to terms with her new life. She never genuinely felt happy, herself, but she was happy to see her sister grow and flourish. She even came to respect the one she considered a simple drain on resources. She is the opposite of Starsky's friend. Her sister did not abandon ship. Her sister remained loyal and with her only friend. Her first life ended because of that ride-or-die mentality. Faint Prism was the largest crab in the smallest bucket.
>>43683368To continue the autism yet still, this is Flutterlime. This is just a toy with a malfunctioning voice box and incorrectly colored body. Curiously articulated and intelligent, the owner of a toy store decided to open her up because she was curious. The owner inherited the store from his family. It is a small store and he lives upstairs.Sometimes an uncomplicated life is unimpressive yet highly coveted.
>>43683371To continue the autism because why shouldn't I, this is Sparking Shine. This is the worthless filly of no value or importance that spend her foalhood following Faint Prism and her sister. She was the most aggressive thief of the three and would often throw one or both under the bus to escape with her meager findings. She was never accepted by Faint Prism but was viewed as her sister's second friend. She never learned how to use magic because no one ever taught her how to. It gave her an intense inferiority complex and led to her learning how to lie and threaten others. The first time she died, she was valued by no one. She belonged nowhere. No one mourned her. Then she woke up in a box.Her on-again-off-again friend was happy. Not just happy but she had so many things that Sparking never knew could exist for them. She was angry. She was always angry, as an answer to abandonment and repeated isolation. In a fit of anger, she used magic in a way she didn't think possible. Through that, she formed a near instant bond to the Anon. It started as a one-sided bond. She eventually figured out magic as a concept while watching him play video games. Her capacity escalated severely while coming to view what she could do. She purposefully put on a show that it was difficult and that progress was slow so he would praise her more. So he would give her more attention. Focus more on her. The ultimate goal for this was for her to steal her old friend's human. Why? Because he's there and he does not belong to her.She never quite got beyond her covetous, jealous nature. Through being shown repeatedly that her best was never good enough to become the human's #1, she strove to improve herself every way she could. To hone her magic. To be there as his friend and confidant. To steal affection wherever she could. The consequence of her improving herself and becoming a real friend is that she began to feel something resembling guilt. Not enough to stop, but enough that she wanted to do what she could to also enhance her relationship with the other three.>>43683368They are ice and fire but they do come to work well together. Self-discipline paired with passion and inability to simply sit back and let things happen.
>>43683385Because (You) physically can not stop me from going full spergtismo, this is Jacky. AKA Release The Jacken. AKA Crackerjack. AKA Jackenstein. AKA any sort of name that can be used to play with her name because she's been called Jacky for as long as she could remember. She grew up in an orphanage with Faint Prism. One day, for a reason she doesn't honestly remember, Faint convinced her to run away. Throughout the years living as a dirty gutter filly, Jacky had multiple chances at a better life. Certain ponies saw potential in her intelligence and capacity to learn. Faint Prism successfully blocked every avenue she had at life so she wouldn't be alone. Instead, Jacky grew up as a petty thief. Food or fabrics were mostly what she took. More than once, Jacky was spared consequence by Faint Prism offering herself in exchange. Such exchanges were rarely fair or appropriate.Jacky first died through a head injury after a fight with a rival group of walking trash. Her loyalty to her two only friends in the whole world explicitly led to her premature expiration. Her only regret was that she made Faint worry about her. Then she woke up in a box. An Anon, out of raw loneliness, purchased her through a suspicious website. She woke up with fragmented pieces of someone that wasn't herself. She was packaged and sold as a product but had the smallest fragments of memory that her heart refused to give up. She had her two best buddies. Dashie and Sparky. While coming to terms that she knew nothing in a world that was not suited for her, she naturally formed a bond with the only other living being that allowed her to continue living.Eventually, she reunited with Sparky: Sparking Shine. She convinced Anon to search for her friends under the idle hope that they actually existed. While the initial reunion wasn't appropriate, they both had resurfacing memories of their time together. Not enough for it to be a full picture but enough for them to know they knew each other. During this time her bond with Anon took on a more romantic and earnest flavor. After convincing Anon further, they managed to find Faint Prism against all odds. With all of then reunited, memories of their past life continued to surface. More importantly, they understood that they have, in actuality, died. Were they in an afterlife? Was this a second chance?Over time, Jacky's dreams were plagued by visions of her past. The things she did. The things she missed out on. Her true name. At one point, she was called Lemon Pepper. There is no recollection on who started to call her Jacky or why it fit. In a way, it didn't change anything because she was still her. She had grown along with her friends into an effective unit. A family even.Despite the presumed impossibility, Anon and Jacky created life. Faint Prism devoted herself entirely to her sister and her new niece. Sparking Shine also helped, her fire burning ever brighter because she still wants what Jacky has: a child born of love.
>>43683434Because I apparently can't stop me, this is something that belongs to the green Photo Finished. This is a stark white ball-jointed doll that prefers to wet it's mouth with blood. It is the end and beginning. There are no further notes on this..
>>43683331I am not schizophrenic. Anarchy Stocking wants to take Twilights Soul for power, and Twilight is naturally opposed to the human life-form as in this she sees it as a grotesque mis-appropriation of life. In panel 4 Twilight's body is severed by Stocking's katana, and in panel 5 we can see Stocking standing still with Twilight's soul behind her after she quickly ran at her and sliced her. Stocking didn't notice that Twilight used her magic in the quick encounter to completely pierce her through the chest as we can see in panel 6 her soul is leaving her body. In panel 7 the two souls were searching for the nearest valid thing to transfer to automatically and the two souls conjoined. In panel 8 we can see the physical manifestation of the souls of Twilight Sparkle and Anarchy Stocking and the sum total of their souls was enough to create a physical combination between them. The two souls of Twilight and Stocking live in this body
>>43683442Because even the doll has not called for my death yet, this is Obscure Embrace. Known as Sally due to her human father and Equestrian mother. She grew up in a less than ideal home as her father was an alcoholic and deeply in love with her mother. Likewise, her mother shared that deep love with him. Despite such love, they repeatedly argued and fought in front of their only foal. Sometimes they would shift attention and both attack her instead. Usually verbally. Due to an incident, her father died after a fight with her mother. Obscure has openly blamed her existence on the decline of her parents' relationship.Due to her mixed heritage, she has teeth closer to a human's as well as hormonal imbalances that lead to severe mood swings. Violent urges have shown themselves as well, having learned them by watching fights. With the aid of a cohort named Fringe Binge, Sally comes across an Anon. An alcoholic that masquerades as a motivational speaker. Due to feeling multiple of his messages resonating with her, she began to fixate on him. After stalking him multiple times, she managed to find his home address and visit him. Predatory cunning mixed with a strong twitch reaction led to her stomping in Anon's face after he hit her out of reflex. It was an unfortunate accident that instead almost led to his death. Thanks to Fringe Binge's resourcefulness, Anon was saved when he aimed to drink strong alcohol while taking pain killers.Repeated interactions with Fringe used as a foil, Sally continued to emotionally manipulate and damage Anon's spiritual health through repeated instances of threatening, traumatizing and insisting on their bond. He eventually caved. After launching an operation with Fringe to prevent Sally from potentially causing grave harm on herself, Sally sprung her last trap: a relationship.Currently, Sally has been Anon's girlfriend for months. Her sharp intelligence and predatory senses have been discarded though she has still encroached on his life to the point he now feels responsible for her continued wellbeing as well as believing that there is a now genuine emotional bond they mutually share.
>>43683497Because I am a soulless shill that has no restraint, >>43655193 this is Fringe Binge. She has no affable nickname. She grew up in, and aged out of an orphanage that was specifically made for human-Equestrian hybrids. Her poor eyesight is attributed to her human-sized eyes. Her wings are unable to function as wings. Instead, they are closer to oversized skeletal hands. They allow her to manipulate items with an almost human level of dexterity but they have always carried the idea that she is already dead, or rotting.Through unknown means, she met Obscure Embrace and targeted a motivational speaker that seemed to speak well on topics that resonated with both genetic defects. Though she had no will on her own to follow through with stalking, she did take a strong initiative once in proximity to Anon. Her tactics involved playing cool to Sally's passion, remaining casual while giving highly inappropriate comments and threats, and spending time with Anon for it's own sake. Seeing that Anon was not simply playing a character, her interest escalated considerably. Due to her own connections, she was able to obtain two potions. A healing potion that was gifted to her personally to keep her safe, she used on Anon when he was close to dying through a poorly conceived idea to drink while overfilling on prescription-grade painkillers. She was later able to obtain a love potion per Sally's orders. The goal was to drug him into loving her. Instead, she presented the potion openly to him and teased him over the concept of being drugged and how she could so easily take advantage of that.Apparently the Equestrian-made potion did not work on humans as Anon drank it freely as a mixer. Fringe ingested the love potion on accident and revealed her ultimate desires upon Anon: she loved him. She wanted to be around him. It gave her life meaning to be a part of his life. The capacity or title didn't matter to her. The revelation to Anon was no revelation to her. She was always able to remain open and honest with him though she would continue to tease and test the waters to the point of interfering with the fidelity of Anon and Sally's relationship. She currently has remained a satellite of Anon's life. Though her relationship decayed greatly with Sally as the officially titled girlfriend saw no further use in keeping around dead weight, she had managed to worm her way into Anon's heart and mind to the point that he views her safety as critical as Sally's. She continues to have no regret or remorse for manipulating both Sally and Anon, though she will openly tell Anon what she is doing and give him a chance to react so they bond through banter.
>>43683529Because I'm not yet done with this gimmick and this is actually giving me a chance to talk about characters without interfering with the story, >>43659766 the mare on the left is Precious Mettle. Child born from the great mentalist Rattanak Chon and unicorn Liquid Mettle, Precious grew up in a wealthy world full of mysticism, sycophants and prospects for the future.Due to circumstances, both of her parents met their demise prematurely. Despite their vast fortune and social connections, Precious retreated into herself in the most extreme of isolation. She spent years attempting to use her magic to make contact with her parents from the other side of life. Her efforts destroyed her body and damaged her horn to the point her conventional magic is crippled and severely exhausting to use. Possibly due to her parentage, she has been able to see the thoughts of people pour from their heads. Whether or not it was a latent gift or an ability that came from her strained efforts, it is not something she knows how to turn off.She believes that her parents sent her a sign, when she was at her lowest. Something pointed to a motivational speaker half a planet away by the name of Anon. After visiting him at an air port after a seminar, she found confirmation that her parents had given her a sign. Anon was her purpose in life. Anon would be her salvation. After months of selling off the vast majority of her family's estate and belongings, she visited Anon to find that he had entered a relationship with an Equestrian halfbreed that had inflicted so much trauma on him that he then felt obligated to help her find happiness. She also saw that the two were flanked by a cunning, coy pegasus that Precious knew would be able to catch onto any conventional means.Currently, she had invited the three over to an apartment unit she now owns. Spiking their desserts with powdered melatonin, she praised Anon for his triumph over two mares. She sought to claim him in front of the two, whether or not they were able to witness it. Instead, Anon disengaged from the attack and returned by rattling her in a way she hadn't anticipated. Having been defeated and sexually assaulted by Anon in his fervor, Precious understood that his victory and her defeat only strengthened that her parents had sent her the correct sign. If he could defeat her wit despite her abilities and knowledge, he could conquer her heart without trying. While she does genuinely promote Anon and Sally's relationship, she believes that his humanity demands continued conquest. She does not view Sally as competition. She views Anon's beliefs and views on relationships as her primary antagonist.
That isn't everyone but that's a lot of my super special Ohsee Donut Steels. They exist because their stories need to be told. Who and what they are comes before any visual representation. Because I write their stories, they have immense value to me. I fear Sally and the other two Equestrian-human hybrids both because their story refuses to leave me along and it means I have to have three more plushmares of them. Because they are important. It is due to these stories and these mares that I feel the need to continue to write and host panels talking about how to better understand characters (singular and plural) as well as panels that are just oral stories.I'm not a furry but I'm probably one of those "oh Christ it's this mareschizo again" losers that like to shit up threads with unbridled joy over something no one else cares about. After all, in a few weeks I'll have been writing and doing panels for over seven years.
>>43683566I've thoroughly enjoyed reading through all of these while I'm on break anon, thank you for sharing. You make me want to post some of my own OCs later today once I'm home.
>>43658553drawings of Scarlet Passion that a friend. i put the original drawing of her in the center. i think they came out great>>43679649he looks punchable
>>43684131that a friend DID*
>>43683980Do it. Well worth noting that the characters came out as their stories did. None of that was just idle thinking and spitballing idea. Their failures and successes are there for all to see: https://ponepaste.org/user/BlondieAnon
>>43683566I appreciate your autism, Anon. More people should be fully genuine in their interests.
>>43683434FYI, there is a doubly pasted post starting with "Or to jump out the window, just in case the building was infested" in part 6 on p-paste. RE scenes got twice funnier now that the three are officially technically zombies themselves.Sorry if it was explained somewhere, but what was the deal with Jacky's altered memories? Was it inflicted externally during her packaging or by her own mind fending off resurrection sickness? It does sound like a defense her own mind would opt for to remember their life as lighthearted adventures where Sparky made a harmless mistake with baebecue and such, but it may also be explained by theming decided by somebody else, like with their inclusions. Or maybe there was no personalized theming at all and the entire line of living toys was uniformly meant to remember their past with more fondness than it deserved? There's nothing to compare it against because for some reason it didn't seem to affect the other two, at least not as prominently: all I remember about Red and White's memories is they were hazy at first, with no traces of weirdly specific tampering. One possible exception is the grey unicorn of despondency, but that's, you know. And speaking of inclusions, what was the deal with Sparky's book? I was a bit excited about it and then it just sort of disappeared forever.
>>43684475Oh boy. Gotta love the copy/paste woes. I still need to go through everything with a finer tooth comb. I don't know why I put it off for so long.>altered memoriesYou know. I don't think I've ever had anyone ask me about this. If they have, I don't remember it.Artificial because she was packaged and meant to be a product. You aren't wrong in that there was no real personalized theming. Given Nona has popped up multiple times and the things she's done, it isn't out of the ordinary to imagine that they've all been pre-loaded with random seedlings of personality. Jacqueline popping up with a multitude of hats, some not even fitting, shows that it was a very ramshackle attempt. Not like she'd ever take over the world if she was given something more worthwhile.>Red and White memoriesThat's the interesting part. The closer together they were, the more they were able to remember. They were never supposed to get back together. A lot of the shorter IF route stories show what would happen if Anon got them effectively out of order. Sparking would still be crippled by some form of guilt and terror of abandonment. Prism would remain caustic and selfish.>Grey unicornI don't think I remember. I remember Hans. He was a cool guy. I wish we had more bros like Hans around.>The BookYou wanna know what's funny? I think Anon and Jacky just threw it out along with the box. What if it was a spell book? That would've been neat. I'm pretty sure it was blank. As ill-fitting as everything else and meant to be packaged together to show a studious mare. You may have seen it but that group is... particularly lazy. They're given a second chance at life and all they want to do is lay around and focus on themselves. I've always thought that they would fit right in with the /neet/mare crowd because there are a lot of genuine similarities with them. It's just less memes and more stunted maturity. I thought of a /neet/mare I wanted to write about but Sally has dominated my mind.
>>43684875>multitude of hats show that it was a very ramshackle attemptGranted, it's something of a bitch move on my part to dig too deep into the early years of it. But there may be an unintentional gap between shown and told things here. It would take a great deal of attention to details and, perhaps even personal respect to accentuate Jacky's many hidden talents and quick learning with this choice of accessory instead of going with some of her more superficial traits or choosing something genuinely random. Her hats are clearly meant to feel cheap, and they don't. Not in hindsight, anyways.Unlike Prism's empty bottles. That's both insultingly shelf life-prioritizing and jarringly unfair as something complementing or symbolically representing her nature, that is to say, triply cheap.>I don't think I remember.Wasn't there this recurring dream character who tried to convince Jacky and Sparkles to kill themselves, and I think egged on Sparkles to go more reckless with stealing shit too? Probably just that: a dream character. A shallow personification of their mental states with no relevance to their real past or to any memory-molding witchcraft. Who looks exactly the same in several ponies' dreams cause of reasons.>Hans was a cool guyThis is true.>I'm pretty sure it was blank. It sure puts things into perspective if this whole time>>While you and Jacky enjoyed the experience, Sparks instead read from her little book>>You wanted to sneak a peak at it but whenever you got the urge, you felt something jolt up your spine>>Maybe it's best to not and say you didn'tshe'd been looking at blank pages and malding.
