>>43683536I'm in the middle of full watch of the full series with friends I've gotten hooked on it. Unfortunately that means we're in the weak late end of S5 and just watched the Hooffields and the Mccolts. Twilight and Fluttershy are called by the map to resolve a friendship problem for the first time. Twilight is very enthused and confident Fluttershy is not enthused and hoping to rely on Twilight. Where they are headed is supposed to be one of the most beautiful valleys in Equestria. When they arrive the Hooffield and Mccolt families are fighting their feud and the valley looks to be long since spoiled of any natural beauty. They spend some time investigating/interrogating the families to find out what's going on and try to get them to stop fighting with therapy style steps Twilight had written down in advance, while Fluttershy attempts to help animals suffering from the feud. After exhausting all of her strategies and being unable to find the root cause of the feud(which the Hooffields and McColts have long since forgotten), Twilight becomes despondent. The animals Fluttershy has been helping tell them they know how the feud started. As the two families begin fighting in the valley, Twilight stops them with her magic so they can listen to Fluttershy. Fluttershy tells them this all started when their ancestors were drawn to the land for its beauty and decided to live there together using each of their special talents for growing crops and building. When they couldn't agree on how the land should be used and began to sabotage each other, it turned into a feud that destroyed the valley. The two families realize they destroyed the very thing that brought them there in the first place and were causing suffering to the animals that weren't part of their feud, and mutually decide to restore the valley, relying on each other's strengths, and ending their feud.
