Too many shill threads/chart spam on this board. Post stuff you like and recommendations for others
>Broadcast - Tender Buttons:
Some anon recommended this album and I really like it. I particularly like the dreamy sound and the variety of this album. Patricia's voice is also perfect for the music. The songs nearer the end reminded me of playing around with synths and the type of "music" I used to make.

i got recced Broadcast on here within the last year aswell, pretty good finally got around to hearing them on a late night car ride home from work but haven't finished the album yet. I recently found out John Paul Jones had an amazing 90s solo album called Zooma where he rocks fucking hard like proto Them Crooked Vultures. Then theres Lync These are not Fall Colors which is an indie rock album I should've checked out 8 years ago but somehow didn't get around to it for a 90s indie rock fan its god tier actually its kinda like Pavement meets Slint. Springtime by Springtime, don't remember what it sounds like just that I liked it last week. Neurosis new album. Fleeting Joys Despondent Transponder, a rare very good 21st century shoegaze album that actually gets the thick distortion guitar right. I've got tons more but these were all ones I especially liked.

Any fairly recent Post-punk bands?

try Model/Actriz out

depends how broad you want to define post-punk but two newer (post-2020) bands that I've really been enjoying are 80s synth pop revivalist groups Nuovo Testamento and Nation of Language
Both are steeped in their influences, Nation of Language sometimes sounding like a pure OMD pastiche, but it's really quite impressive how authentic Nuovo Testamento get to the era and sound they're homaging

I saw the new Wendy Eisenberg album got really good reviews so I gave it a try. Really good stuff in the vein of Big Thief and Allegra Krieger.
