Is it weird to be 27 and never once listened to a Led Zeppelin album all the way through?
>>
>>130379848
Maybe a bit. It'd be MUCH weirder if you were 47 or 57 and never listened to a Led Zeppelin album all the way through.
>>
>>130379848
No because they're shit.
>>
>>130379848
I have never listened to Led Zeppelin, I only know the start of Stairway to Heaven because of cultural osmosis and even then the song morphs into "Tears in Heaven" in my mind because I never listened to the full song.
>>
>>130379848
That's probably true of a lot of people, rock isn't what it's used to be
>>
>>130380138
Why are you so proudly ignorant? It's weird and retarded. Normal people keep to themselves when they have nothing of value to say.
>>
>>130379848
I can guarantee you have involuntarily, it has to have come on classic rock radio at least once, unless you live in like South Sudan or somewhere that doesn't have a basic classic rock station
>>
>>130379848
Led Zeppelin is boomer garbage so no. It'd be weird if you had taken it upon yourself to do so. The fuck do you owe them your time for? Boomershit should be assumed to be trash unless spoonfed indubitably otherwise.
>>
>>130380191
Signalling how culturally irrelevant something is is useful data.

Geezers ought to know we now don't give a fuck about the garbage they grew up worshipping.
>>
>>130380191
Pride and ignorance go hand in hand, in fact pride is an indicator of ignorance
>>
well, anyone interested in music should have heard at least the first 4 albums in their entirety by the age of ~14
on the other hand there are probably plenty of people aged 27 whove never listened to any album all the way though
>>
>>130380312
just because contemporaries got psyopped into believing there was merit to something doesn't mean it actually does stand the test of time

if it did, it'd be as easily identifiable and circulating as Smells Like Teen Spirit; you wouldn't have to seek it out; its fans would be more than willing to shove exactly what's good about it in your face
>>
>>130380350
Just because you need to be spoonfed like a cripple does not mean the a piece of work does not stand the test of time.

Led Zeppelin stands the test of time head and shoulders above Nirvana, because you could play it in more varied places and periods of time and people would get it. Stairway to Heaven might actually be the single most timeless piece of rock music of all time.

Nirvana is only still famous because no rock band has been as famous since so they are seen as one of the last great rock bands. But they won't stand the test of time becuase it is overly nihilstic and infantile
>>
>>130380350
>blah blah meaningless bollocks about psyops
get off the internet and relax sometimes, you might come across as less of a fucking schizo
>thinks Nirvana are good
all becomes clear
>>
>>130380398
>Led Zeppelin stands the test of time head and shoulders above Nirvana
picrel
>Nirvana is only still famous because no rock band has been as famous
that's bullshit
they're still famous because Nevermind is one of the greatest rock albums ever released
>they won't stand the test of time becuase it is overly nihilstic and infantile
they are currently more discussed and culturally relevant than Led Zeppelin is, and better reflect the current vibe, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future
>>
>>130380412
You're a decrepit crank telling anyone else to get off the internet.

And Nirvana are good. Much better than Ded Irrelevant.
>>
>>130380191
Being ignorant of bad music is a good thing. Zeppelin is pure boomer crap. Society would be better off if we all stopped feeding boomers' narcissism by idolizing their old washed-up celebrities.

why do queers always have to shove their homosexuality in our faces?
>>
>>130380123
>It'd be MUCH weirder if you were 47 or 57 and never listened to a Led Zeppelin album all the way through.
um... allow me to introduce myself
>>
>>130380221
>>130381037
True, Meteora mogs anything Led Zeppelin ever released.
Boomers expecting people to not only be amazed by a dated sound, trendy 50 years ago, but to consider it better than anything released in the past 30 years, is akin to expecting VHS to impress people who lived at the tail end of DVD era, and now uses UBS drives + cloud.
>>
>>130379848
Soon there will be an entire generation of 27-year olds that have not listened to ANY album all the way through.
>>
>>130380191
>Normal people keep to themselves when they have nothing of value to say.
Newfag.

Achilles Last Stand
>>
>>130380437
Anon, are you aware that you are not always going to be a child. One day you will grow up and be an adult, you may wish that your childish tastes will still be validated by your old age but I assure you when you get older you will realise bands like nirvana are just kids music.
>>
>>130388695
That's bullshit, I don't care about Nirvana, but "childish music" is a meaningless term, no better than name calling. Once I like a song, that's it, there is no "growing out" that's for pitiful/insecure, pretentious retards, who care too much about what others think.
>>
I've listened to two three or so zep songs in my whole life. Just don't care about them.
>>
>>130388796
Aww, does baby want to stay a child forever? Poor thing

If you have never grown out of a song then you genuinely must be 15 which is fine, makes sense that you are so afraid of name calling and caring what others think but being nihilistic, cynical and dressing like a teenager is childish anon, one day you'll have to get over it and grow up. It happens to all of us
>>
>>130379848

a lot of people don’t have an idea of a Led Zep song growing up as they weren’t a singles band and didn’t have mainstream radio hits
>>
>>130379848
it's weird to care about such things at any age
>>
>>130379848
There’s an easy cure for this.
>>
>>130380191
this site loves proclaiming how much they don't know what something is. always reminds me of that chris rock bit where he talks about how ghetto niggers also love not knowing things.
>I DON'T KNOW THAT SHIT! I'M KEEPIN IT REAL!
>yeah, real dumb!
>>
>>130381063
bruh chill, the album cover is an old man being bent over by a literal faggot on his back
>>
>>130388959
You grew into a cringe, childish, braindead retard, given not everyone does that, I'm high sceptical of anything you say.
You say I'm 15, but going by the way you write, you are a spoiled brat, no older than 10.
>>
>>130388884
Then why you posted here ?, I don't go into threads of bands I don't care for.
>>
>>130386735
True, newfag at life, real people do the opposite, the less they know, the more confidently they talk.
>>
>>130381068
I am a man of wealth and taste...
>>
>>130388959
example of music you've grown out of?
>>
>>130379848
I think I had listened to their entire discography 10 times by the time I was 18
>>
>>130379848
Yes. They're the greatest rock band of all time, pound-for-pound.
>>
>>130390432
Good Charlotte
Blink 182
When I was 14 I thought The Wonder Years were the greatest band of all time and couldn't believe they weren't famous but when I listen to their music now I find it quite bad. Even Nirvana, who I think are great for what they are, but what they are an edgy teeny bopper band for cynical adolescents.

>>130390103
Anon, please for the love of god, go outside and make some friends your own age before you end up wasting your golden years on the internet. Nobody sufficiently socialised would make a post as bizarre as this even at 15.
>>
>>130379848
No, they’re a singles band
>>
>>130391108
Dude, you have awful taste in music, the fact your favourite bands were ever Blink-182 and Good Charlotte, shows this is a you problem, complaining about anyone else's taste, with how ridiculous and unreliable your ears are, is an endorsement. what's next ? was it Justin Bieber, or Ronnie Radke, that became your favorite solo artist ?
>>130391192
Not true, singles artist were the likes of Elton John, LZ early output was chock full of bangers, half the album.

is it really tho?
>>
>>130391520
lol I knew this was coming. Did my post really make you seethe that hard? Jfc anon, grow up.

When I was a kid, I listened to kids music, maybe you should grow out of the teen shit you still do
>>
>>130379848
