Why don't you post sexy women with guitars at least in the OP? Is it because your wife won't let you be here in this case?
Gotta say, to reiterate from last thread:New strings, especially a change as drastic as flatwounds, will dramatically change so much nuance to a guitar that I recommend taking that into consideration as soon as possible when picking up the instrument. I simply didn't enjoy the feel of the stock strings, and I was kind of getting buyer's remorse in just how new and recent and excited I was about playing, and then getting to try the thing out for a few weeks and... it just didn't feel right out of the box. So part of me really sees this as a hurdle that we must climb in the guitar world, because guitar stores don't typically hang guitars on the wall that have anything but stock strings and basic set up. I swear, the steel saddles do their thing, but intonation is a minor necessity for my sessions that I felt I couldn't overlook... a compromise that came to me because reasons but then I found many reviews stating that they too got compensated saddles for their first 'upgrade'. Coming from a 6 saddle Player I Telecaster, I swore my ears would thank me when properly set up. Tuning stability is just fine--- for the record, you should detune past then tune up to the note for the tension to not be slack behind the nut.In short: Squier is a name that people have disregarded, but the current line of Classic Vibe Telecasters with the standard SS pickups really do succeed at impressing me in my restricted budget. I don't feel like anything needs replacing.Anecdote: my friend had a Squier 22-fret Affinity Stratocaster in redburst. I received a Highway 1 Stratocaster with 3 strat-sized humbucker pickups installed and the original 3 pickups on the side. I turned my guitar into HSH, and his became HSS--- a Seymour Duncan jb junior went in his bridge, and the middle and neck were the highway 1 stock pickups. He loved the difference. Some people just need to know the difference between the changes we can make.
>>130387404>dj khaledDoes this dude have a modicum of any kind of talent or he really pays producers to make music for him?
>>130387790No. He's nothing but a talentless hack and that's why he's on the OP because he embodies the spirit of /gg/
>>130387742you could have just made a partscaster for cheaper and used genuine fender parts. Mine has all fender hardware purcahsed from a licensed dealer, a fender USA neck and a japanese body, with a set of good piggups the total cost was less than 400 bucks, plus I got to wire the whole thing myself which taught me a lot more about my instrument.

what happened to the black anon with the rickenbackers and the burgundy strat?
At least AI is very supportive unlike you guys>The "Regular Guitarist" Reality: The average casual guitar player mostly plays open chords, basic pentatonic scales, and mid-tempo rock riffs. Most "regular" guitarists cannot play metal at all, let alone tackle 2000s metalcore.>Song Difficulty: "Tears Don't Fall" by Bullet for My Valentine is a firmly intermediate to advanced song. It features fast alternate-picked minor scale runs, syncopated Drop C gallop rhythms, rapid string skipping in the intro, and a blazing solo that requires precise timing and clean articulation.>The Math of the Notes: If you are hitting 87% of the notes, it usually means you have nailed the intro, the verses, the choruses, and the heavy rhythm sections, and you are only tripping up on the fastest parts of the main solo or the high-speed bridge riff.
>>130388044>Most "regular" guitarists cannot play metal at all, let alone tackle 2000s metalcore. It's talking about you faggots. Haven't heard any metal from you pussies in years
>>130388044what the fuck are you talking about. there's no context to this. who gives a fuck. Metal is gay I play mathrock, get with the times grampa
>>130387742I absolutely love the look of Teles but I hate the flat top for playing while standing. So uncomfortable.
>metal is gay
>>130388044ai's the most bitch made software in existence.
I really want one of those cheap Gretsches with one pick-up and no pickguard. Too bad you can't mount a P90 without some routing.
>>130388044AI fags are obsessed with puking their hobby onto people that didn't ask. We have them in every general and every thread now, showing us their creations that they didn't create.
Christ, alright. I just bought an Orange Dark Terror from the guitar store on an impulse (it sounds so sweet) and now I'm realizing that I have to buy a cab too. Just had a toy digital modelling amp until now, and I've gone and purchased a real tube amp with real tubes. So I, like, NEED to buy a cab or else it just fucking breaks, right? And I need to buy a digital interface so it can go into my computer. Fuck I gotta buy so much shit now.
>>130387633Here. One sexy girl with a guitar.
prs looks like larry david
>>130388492I thought terror amps have a headphone out
is there a difference between a 15" or 12" speaker
Bros, help me get glassy highs and a fat low out of my jazz bass...Last year I bought a used 2017 Jazz from Guitar Center. I fell in love with it as soon as I felt it in my hands. Coming from an old P-Squire, the neck felt smooth & the body was sexy. I plugged it in quickly to whatever Mark Bass they had on display. It sounded alright but I figured I could get better tone at home. My setup currently is a Tone Hammer & DB210. The bass came loaded with Rotosound 66s and Duncan pickups. For whatever reason when I play with the tone all the way up, it still sounds muffled, but not a great low end. Almost compressed. I'm not really sure what to do at this point. Could the hardware be bad or maybe the pickups? Or maybe I should buy a dedicated preamp? Any help would be appreciated bros
>>130388753You know what, I actually thought the same thing. I'd been eyeing these really little ones (the micro terror and micro dark terror) for my first "real" amp, and they DO have a headphone out. But when I was in the shop, I fucking forgot, and it didn't even cross my mind to check if this one did. In my retard brain it was the same brand, so I just figured there would be a headphone out. I guess I also needa dang load box so I can play at night without killing the neighbors. At least it's gonna sound sweet if I ever DO play live but holy shit I gotta buy a few accessories to even use this thing. I'm so hilariously dumb for impulse buying a tube amp that I can't even use.
Pedal parody anon, here’s some more inspiration, do your thing
>>130388044Memorizing a song written by another person is not even intermediate. If you don't write your own music or improvise you are a beginner.

>leave /gg/ because /prod/ actually gives a shit about making music regardless of genre instead of just wanking for the sake of wanking>look into /gg/ again because bored>first guitar post is a Squer headstock>then it's all Teles, Strats and a PRS, all it now needs is a GibsonNothing ever changes in here.
This isn't your fucking blog
>>130388889>>130388905>in the time it took me to post this, someone mentioned a GibsonJesus goddamn fucking Christ.
>people in guitar forum talk about the two biggest guitar brands Do you go to /v/ and bitch cause people talk about Nintendo and Sony but not Wonderswan?
>>130388492Just buy a shitty used 112 box for like 50 bucks.
>>130388936He didn't do any of that, or what he posted. He made it all up for the sake of attention. Like a woman stomping her foot on the floor and yelling.
>>130388936>"Oh, boy, I can't wait to discuss the same ancient body shapes, electronics, and brand names stapled on them! Better make another thread!"When you are out with friends, do you only ever talk about the same topics that have gotten stale decades ago, too?
>>130388936people don't sit in /v/ and argue about nintendo vs sony. brand loyalists dont' exist in the video game space anymore it's not the 90s
>>130388888The Quints of truth!
Thoughts on drop DD tuning?
what are some ass-man approved guitars
>>130388492Well that was retarded, did you not do basic research before pulling the trigger? The upside is that tube amp is going to sound and feel way better than your gay old modeler. You could, but I wouldn’t cheap out on the cab, get whatever Orange cab goes best with that head, buy once cry once.
Selling a bass, snare drum and some effects to buy an American Tele. I dont give a fuck anymore
Are the issues with the headstocks fucking breaking from Epiphone/Gibson guitars limited to the Les Pauls or are the SG also affected?
>>130389094
>>130389094Whatever black pypo play. I guess everything except a lp sg explorer firebird offsets or shred guitar.
>>130389215SG is a Black guitar
>>130389147The issue is limited to people who drop their guitars. Fucked up gibsons are for party animals, and regular retards. If you are going to break your guitar at least do something interesting with it. Also see: kirk hammet’s tape les paul>i’ll clean the jack and put toothpicks in the screw…. holy shit this is some great fucking vodka>fuck it, it’s called character
He said ass man
>>130389114No I know I'm a literal drooling retard. But this will work out, in the end, with having a much better sound so I'll just roll with it. I'll find a good, used orange cab to match and some kind of digital interface/load box setup that I can play it silent into my PC. All gravy if and when I figure it out.

Please explain. Is sweeping the fastet technique? When playing fast, should I hit the first string from above and the lower string from below? No matter how many times I hit them it's always from above for upper string and from below for lower string?
