>>130400869I teach myself I understand music theory 101 >>130400600Answering this question more sincerely since it’s related most of what I do on guitar is just Roman numeral chords in a key music theory 101 n pentatonic / minor scale for solos it’s about the song structure pic related is the only scale I use reallyNotice how in box 1 it’s basically the pentatonic scale but with 2 extra notesPentatonic is minor scale with notes 2 removed (2 n 6) every note is numbered 1-7 n repeats every octave

It’s all based on mathematical divisions of a drum machine. Each verse section and each chorus section contains 16 bars made up of 4 lines of poetry each so each line of rhyme takes up 4 bars.Example:A black cloud is hanging over meBored and sad is all I’ll ever beLife without your love it feels so badWake up every morning I feel sadRhyme scheme AABB each line taking up 4 bars of time so 16 barsChorus similar 4 lines of rhyme scheme such as AABB or ABAB etcWhole song:Verse chorus verse chorus solo verse chorus soloSolo taking up 32 barsAll my songs are 32 bar sections of alternating verse chorus riff x532x5 = 160 bars total for a typical songThe 3 verses have anywhere from 1-3 sets of lyrics either AAA ABA or ABC U can mathematically work out the song length based on the tempo of the drum machine by 160 barsSo like a song like spaceship is intentionally 5 minutes long by recording at 125bpmIt’s based on repetitions of 4 like a computer chip 8 16 32 64
