No, I'm saying that in order for people to care about LCD Soundsystem in 2026+, it would have to be that, because their music was never particularly good and appealed to that hipster sense for ironically enjoying "bad" music. "Dance Yrself Clean" is their only earnestly decent track and even that gets tainted past like the first minute or two despite being a whole seven minutes long.

Why cant people just make good art for the sake of it? Why does there have to be some ulterior phenomenon of thing "tapping into the zeitgeist" for it to matter? I saw them in bend like 3 years ago and they gave a really great show. Kinda too late to do another show. They retired when they were making their best music. Then we got one more album which was okay but too little too late
