Does anyone else find the idea of listening to artists younger than you weird? The only well known artists I can think of who are younger than me are Nettspend and Matt OX, and both are complete dogshit regardless of age.

>>130416747Depends on how young. I'm 22 and if they're 18+ I don't mind but anything else is a bit weird. 16 or 17 is kinda pushing it without feeling like a creep. Will probably change as I change. I've been listening to Fakemink, ISSBROKIE, I Promised The World and Bunii with no issues recently.

That changes as you get into your 30s. When I was in my mid 20s, listening to younger people felt weird because I had only just stopped being retarded. Now in my 30s, I listen to a lot of younger artists who are 22+ because mentally they are not distinctly different from me at that point. It just has to do with maturity. When you’re in your 20s, the last thing you usually want to do is hear the opinions of a retarded high school senior.
