The Idiot is an amazing album and by far Iggy's best but it's more of a Bowie album really, just with half the lyrics and the singing done by somebody else.

I agree though. I love Lodger and I love Red Money. SM is indeed superior, but like I said it's more down to Bowie's input. Just look at Lust for Life – Iggy wanted more control (fair enough) and we got a good album but not one of the GOATS like the idiot. I think I've heard Iggy agree when asked.
