The Coldplay of hard rock
>>130420587Coldplay has released more good albums than Poo Fighters
>>130420594zero is not bigger than zero
>>130420600Wrong
>>130420587Foo Fighters is like a polished turd, it may look shiny at some times, from some angles but its still just a piece of shit. Coldplay is more like diarrhea
>>130420667And Radiohead is ass cancer
>>130420667i hate dave grohl. >i can make music too!!!!!foo fighters was only popular because of nirvana
>>130420594Foo Fighters:>two really good albums (S/T, Color and the Shape)>three pretty good albums (Wasting Light, Nothing Left to Lose, But Here We Are)>two decent albums (One by One, ESPG)>rest is mostly garbageColdplay:>two really good albums (Parachutes, A Rush of Blood)>one pretty good album (Viva la Vida)>two decent albums (X&Y, Everyday Life)>rest is mostly garbageFF win

BIG ME TO TALK ABOUT IT
>>130420843pretty good song desu
>>130420587I think Coldplay and Foo Fighters both have a couple of great songs. If I had to listen to a platinum album released in the 21st century, they would both be near the top of my list.
>>130420587Wow! Is that Dave Grohl? He's the nicest guy in rockTM. Both shit bands but I didn't mind coldplays first album *too* much.
>>130420587yeah, although hard rock is generous. i'd put them under post grunge/pop rock. foo fighters s/t is alright i guess, since that was written largely when he was in nirvana and before he got deep into the vh1 "savior of real RAWK" persona. colour and the shape and some singles since then were ok, but all in all definition of MOR. coldplay are similar - early work is ok pop rock, viva la vida decent watermark, and then descent into pure radio rock sap
