does anyone else take music tolerance breaks to better enjoy music afterwards?
how long does it take for you to reset your music tolerance?

yeah it's actually wild how far it goes lol
after a 1-2 week break from blasting my headphones for 3-4 hours a day, i usually always get back into it with some chill music - psych rock, kraut, psybient, whatever.
by the time i realize i need a tolerance break im onto industrial and harsh noise

that's a very common thing everyone does
nobody can listen to music 24/7
for me it's usually a couple of hours, then another break of another couple hours, then music for a lil bit time later
some days i don't even bother listening to music, some days i can listen to music all day

that's what i mean too my hostile friend
it happens
your brain simply got tired of listening to music and needs a break of it
after the break, music becomes new again
