What are his actually good songs?
he gave his best song to another bandhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNHdPPJGowY
Heroes
>>130423438https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rajof9Qigos this is way better, so much rawer
>>130423440Heroes is the correct answer because it's the album with the least shitty boogie woogie piano.
Lemme tell ya (Bowie listener since 10th grade). (Forgot to post the image the first time).
somebody up there likes me
>>130423559based for putting Heathen and 5:15 in SS tier
>>130423429Wild Is The Wind, All The Mad Men, Black Country Rock, Lady Grinning Soul, Unwashed and Somewhat Slightly Dazed
my favorite song is aladdin sane, but its not very popular
oh you pretty things
>>130423559>I'm Deranged in D tierthe fuck is wrong with you
>>130423559I like "New Angels of Promise". I see you put it in S-tier so you're cool.
>>130424385You already know the answerHe's deranged
>>130423559God Only Knows is a B but Panic in Detroit and Andy Warhol is a D? You ruined it with this and it ain't easy is better than an F
>>130424385Most of Outside was disappointing. >>130424843They're both annoying songs. God Only Knows isn't perfect but it's pretty hard to screw up Pet Sounds-era Brian Wilson.
The song in Omikron was pretty decent, one of his songs I remember the most lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSIhX-VWhtQ
>>130424956>but it's pretty hard to screw upBowie finds a way though, at best it just makes you wish you were listening to BB. Those two songs are Bs at least. I think Bewlay Brothers should be top tier too
The thin white duke era and scary monsters have plenty of good tracks. Before that ziggy era has some good stuff too but not quite as good, ziggy title track is great

You know who I am, he said! The speaker was an angel He coughed and shook his crumpled wings Closed his eyes and moved his lips!!!!
HeroesLet's DanceFamethat's about it
>>130423429The drum and bass ones. 80'a was his lame era
>>130423429It's absolutely crazy that we ask ourselves these questions
>>130423559Weird how many people underrate it ain't easy, its got great rockin energy
>>130423429man who sold the worldhunky dorythe rest of the 70s run apart from pin upsscary monstershalf of let's dance1. outsideearthlingheathenrealitynext dayblackstar
>>130423559you forgot Future Legend
>>130427662I didn't count that one because it's pretty much just a spoken word interlude. Same reason I didn't count the skits on Outside except for the one joint to a full song.
>>130427855you also don't like Buddha of Suburbia?
>>130427970Songs from Buddha weren't on the template when I made the initial chart. Buddha is fine.
>>130423429Quicksand
>>130423559>Rebel Rebel in SRespect!
>actually good songs?Loaded question. Hating Bowie does not make you cool
>>130423559Idc what anyone says sweet thing-candidate-reprise is his greatest song, a shame how it isn't well known.
>>130423429Almost all of them. The ones from when he looked like your pic (late 80s) are amongst the weakest. I think my favourite DB albums are Low, StS, Hunky (all the 70s basically – including The Idiot). Nice b8 thread btw. I bet you're pissed it turned into a Bowie appreciation thread lol>>130432066Agree. Diamond Dogs is great but I even forget it sometimes but then that's good because then I enjoy it all the more.
>>130432557>>130432066Aah! Forgot to say DD is a great rebuttal to the haters (Scarifi drones) who like to spout that Bowie wasn't a musician, since he played a lot of the instruments himself.
