Thoughts on Bob Dylan's Neighborhood Bully?
>>130426591better than Bob Villain
>>130426591Politics aside, it’s a banger track. It goes harder than a hezbollah rocket.
Well Bob's always been a Zionist. Can't say I agree with it, other than it's a good example of Zionist thinking. It's not a very good song either, it's from a time where Bob's voice was pretty bad-it started to get better around Oh Mercy then went down again
>>130426591Why did he become so easy to brainwash after his divorce? Ever since then, he seems very agreeable and compliant and goes along with strange fads
>>130426637That nigger would seethe if he knew about this song>>130426670We should call it Sabra & Shatila the way he slaughtered those paliniggers
You think Dylan underwent metzitzah b’peh as a baby?
>>130426700Yeah probably
>>130426677You don't like Time out of Mind or Love & Mercy? Bob's croaky frog voice is perfect for his bluesy inclinations. I think Infidels & Street Legal are great albums. Jokerman is a classic, Union Sundown is a tight & catchy political invective, Sweetheart like You is heartfelt & true, & I and I is a great example of his ambitious biblical songwriting.>>130426686I don't know how you can listen to his songwriting and not believe him to be earnest in his religious convictions.
>>130426677Sometimes with older boomer zionists you just have to accept that it’s the way they were raised and indoctrinated. For American Jews in the 50s and 60s so soon after Israel’s founding it must’ve seemed like fucking Semitic Wakanda. Younger jews still often get the old zionist sales pitch, but it’s much more easily falsifiable and more socially acceptable to renounce than it used to be, so they have less of an excuse for buying into it.
>>130426591Soibeard
>>130426845teThis is kind of the supreme solipsism, isn't it? Zionism was never totally uncontroversial, in the 40s, 50s, 60s, or 80s. You had the UN stacked against it during the Cold War with the famous "Zionism is racism" resolution, strife amidst the first Lebanon war & First Intifada, international leftists flattering Arafat & the PLO. Magnified details about what happened during the War of Independence with Israel opening up its archives, and the ensuing controversy there. You can posit that the layman never had a sophisticated picture about the conflict in the past, but it is naive to think because of today's media environment they have become privy to the truth now. There are far more confidence tricksters & con-artists telling you how to think today, than there may have been in the past. Instead of a Seymour Hersh, you get a circle of NGOs consulting on what narrative attracts the most donations & attention.
>>130427046Heck, Dylan's title of the song is the kind of sardonic play on this theme that I'm talking about. Israel is the neighborhood bully, "what's anybody indebted to him for? Nothing, he just likes to cause war."
>>130426817He's earnest because he's very naive, gullible, and pliant. He's a seeker
>>130426686>>130427307Dylan is a Gemini so he's naturally bipolar and never knows exactly what he is.
>>130427344yeah this
>>130427344>astrologytits or gtfo
>>130426700Legend has it HE gave metzitzah b’peh to the Rabbi
Why would an honest to God sincere young man change that?
>>130429830Try fitting Zimmerman on that album cover
>>130427344Same with Kanye.
>>130430559Is hyphenation allowed?
>>130426591He sucks
