>>130444204>80s sound but not shitSo, really, any 80s sound whatsoever.
Big Love sounds a lot like This Is Not America at the start(I never noticed because I only used to listen to that fingerpick guitar live version)I'm gonna give this lp a go it's a great sound so far thanks anon
it's also got that Graceland type sound which came out only a year earlierdamn 80s moved fast

Gated reverb and drums that sound like they were recorded in the room next door have aged poorly. While this album elides that by having a very programmed drum sound, which makes it sound modern. The percussion theory of everything.
The Mofi pressing of this album is very good.
>>130444204Part of what i feel like image macro here fleetwood mac was chasing was this idea that dylan had about fingerpicking and aluminum and the sound of recoding and ‘the quicksilver mercury sound of minnesota plains and iron ore range’ and that as part of fleetwoods sound because of cocaine goblins or fingerpicking or some other sort entirely possibly anyway and this is a minor contemplative mode of albatross and the solo work peter green of the times for fleetwood mac but peter green is gone by this point in the life the mac the band fleetwood mac and but so a lot of this album is the fingerpicking of lindsey buckinham sort of ‘dueling and contending’ with and sampled by the fairlight CMI or something like that
