MHTRTC was what I bought based on the cover, knowing nothing about it, other than that it was highly acclaimed. The color of the artwork being slightly the same color of my bedroom. I was into the fade of old photographs and painting over photographs deliberating obscuring them, at the time. I thought the album was brilliant for sure, felt deep and fragile like it would be carried away by the wind at any moment, but too cutesy for my tastes. I actually thought it was made by a black DJ and was genuinely shocked to later learn it was two white Scot brothers. Also I'm pretty sure I gave that copy away to a girl. I grew to appericiate MHTRTC, but prefer Geogaddi, which is more of my speed and imo their best album.
