Indiscipline rocks so fucking hard>I WISH YOU WERE HERE TO SEE IT

>>130458146Absolutely, best song on the album. Belew rules so hard.
>>130458146that one single track mogs everything by Angine De Redditine combinedgood album, but could've been even better with more songs of this kind
>>130458146>the more I look at it>the more I like it>I do think its good
>>130458146The Beat tour goddamn ruled, loved it when they played this. Danny Carey nailed Brufords drums, Vai was kind of a letdown, but his zootsuit cracked me up.
>>130458146I LIKE IT!!
Unironically mogged by Beat
I repeat myself when under stressI repeat myself when under stressI repeat myself when under stressI repeat myself when under stressI repeat
belew is always so intense on that one live, insane performer
>>130458662No, but I am of a contrarian opinion that Beat is better than Three of a Perfect Pair.
>>130458146belew era KC is their best easy for mebut im not really into prog and more into post punk/funk/jazz so thats prob why i think that
>>130459578Discipline is a really immature record. The portion with the studio recording of Belew telling a story comes off as what a teenager would think sounds cool in a record. I think they were trying too hard to be artsy. Beat has a much more mature and emotional sound, clearly written with a lot of feeling put into it.Three of a Perfect Pair is just a random collection of songs.
>>130458146indiscipline is objectively the worst song on the album lol
>>130459818>calling Discipline immatureOh the irony
>>130459578Is that a controversial opinion? I think Beat is the undisputed king of the 80s trio
>>130462678Beat is straight up considered like their worst album. Maybe rated a bit higher than The ConstruKtion of Light (which also is not even that bad). At least in my experience. I like it well enough myself. Absent Lovers should have been on the album tho. They added that only as a bonus track on one of the reissues.
>>130459578Beat has Waiting Man. TOAPP has nothing. Both albums suck, but at least Beat has one redeemable song.
>>130463861Implying >Neal and Jack and Me (WHEELS, I'M MOVING WHEELS, come on)>Sartori in Tangier >The Howler>RequiemAre not excellent songs? Nigga please. And on Three of a Perfect Pair I like the title track, Sleepless, Nuages and Industry a lot. Rest is meh to kinda bad. Dig Me is an arse improv piece, should have been left on the cutting floor forever. Model Man and Man With an Open Heart are kinda obnoxious. And Larks III is very disappointing.
>>130460137i'm also trans (non-passing) btw, not sure if that matters
This is my favourite KC trackhttps://youtu.be/VLr0mBXhYKA?si=boTLr_Y-NQpPYKOQ
