>Punks were never Naz-
>>
>>130473954
Punk isn't dead, it just smells funny
>>
>>130473954
They weren't real Nazis, it was only for shock value to piss off their WWII vet grandpas, then the National Front came in and it wasn't so funny anymore.
>>
>>130474127
yeah they were just retarded. Somebody like Boyd Rice is a different story though
>>
>>130474127
National front are pretty awesome desu.
>>
>>130473954
punk used be to be teenage party rock music not political music
>>
>>130474127
This is also the case with post-Soviet countries. When you scratch any slavic liberal you will find in their past a period where they were trolling boomers with swastikas and shitting on WWII vets.
>>130474176
Poofters that got very rapidly subverted by British glowniggers.
>>
>>130473954
To be fair Sid was legit retarded, how McLaren used him basically amounted to ableist bullying.
>>
>couldn't play bass for shit
>couldn't sing too
>killed his own gf
>dead by 21yo
i still don't know why somehow wikipedia has a legacy section for him
>>
>>130474196
>punk used be to be teenage party rock music
Well if you grew up listening to Good Charlotte, then yeah.
>>
>>130474560
and yet you live on in purgatory, impotent and posting lame shit on /mu/
yeah wtf Sid
>>
>>130474987
>punk is about challenging conformity and commercialized beauty of polite society
>a 6ft3 tall white guy with a chiseled face becomes its archetypal "anti-star"
>>
>>130474145
>Somebody like Boyd Rice is a different story though

its crazy how all these gen X nonconforming edgelords are just goofy ass products of their time. The guys persona was entirely shaped by trendy pop satanism and a half baked understanding of political theory. jfl.

Real underground punk seems to have more forbidden symbols than ever, even when bands have to play in some sympathetic older guy's strip mall accounting or law office.

>They weren't real Nazis, it was only for shock value to piss off their WWII vet grandpas,
At least as important thoug, was annoying the hippie brothers who were ten years older.
>>
>>130476159
Are you seriously gonna get hung up on Sid's appearance to try to discredit him as punk? Says a lot about your own insecurities
>>
>>130476241
>accounting or law office.
Working in those industries would definitely make you sympathetic towards those kinda bands kek
>>
>>130473954
Some of them were, flameboyant gay punks lived longer
>>
>>130474176
Closet gays who fetishized clothing brands
>>
>>130476493
imagine even a anti-everything movement like punk succumbing to the blackpill and gathering around Chad.
>>
>>130476177
>half baked understanding of political theory
I'd reckon that /most/ of the loudest people, right or left, don't go much further than that desu
>>
>>130476241
>nazi
>tattoos
will never understand this
do they realize the nazis would have hated this?
>>
>>130476159
he dated a skag tho.
at its core, i think punk is about fairly good-looking dudes dating uggo chicks. chicks love that.
>>
>>130476159
>a 6ft3 tall white guy with a chiseled face becomes its archetypal "anti-star
What the fuck are you talking about? Sid was an untalented junkie who was a member of a shitty band conjured up by a fashion designer and was primarily aped by British kids around that time and place. He wasn't any kind of star for most punks outside of there then or now. The only worthwhile thing to come out of The Sex Pistols was PiL.

not seeing many aryan specimens in this photo

His only album isn't too bad honestly
