theres too many and i dont know what im doing
i dont need a lot of features just good sound and layering

that one is very solid for just "I need a looper"
has all the basic functions you need for looping
boss rc-1 is good for exactly 1 loop at a time
rc-2 and later can hold multiple loops, usb transfer
I basically got an rc-3 and never went back
plenty other boutique brands have other cool delay/reverse effects and shit but probably cost a couple hundred more dollars
