Favorite Woodstock '69 sets?

For me, it's Canned Heat. I love the Heavy blues almost like Blue Cheer but with more soul.

a group of blues enthusiasts on fire with woodstock boogie improvisation. (the extended bass solo, drum solo) + the encore is killer.

Grateful Dead. It was legendary for being their worst set ever.

If you're looking for worst set ever, you want something from '94 or '95 with Jerry turning himself down in the mix and nodding off on stage playing junk songs. Woodstock just doesn't live up to 1969 expectations because they were busy avoiding being electrocuted by their own equipment.

Can we post Altamont sets too? It’s like dark Woodstock. This is Gram Parsons and Chris Hillman of the Byrds performing as The Flying Burrito Brothers while Keith Richards watches from the side of the stage and dances, it’s an awesome performance

CCR! John fogerty said their set was trash and everyone was asleep cause they went on at like 2am but i actually dig their live jams way more than any of their records. for playing in the middle of the night they were still ripping pretty hard. i love blasting this while driving down some country road https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlI-C6PDmak

Their amps broke the stage. I still say their worst show was what was recorded of their only Carbondale, IL, show. It was so bad that they put Drums and Space in the first set while Jerry sat down high on Valium. It was so bad that the bootleggers shut down their recorders and left. What sucks is they gave Jerry every upper they had for the second set and they did a Scarlet > Fire that melted everyone faces but it is lost to time.

ccr mogs.
> fogerty miscalculated how important woodstock would be.
but maybe would have been sorta confined to the woodstock act ghetto if ok'd inclusion in woodstock movie.
> ended up probably 2nd or 3rd most spotified act now doe.

ccr always mogged in concert it seemed. (i mean especially when compared to others like beatles with lots of videos of sounding like bad bar band.
> another benefit of keeping simple song concepts it seems.
