will there ever be another band like mineral? they were one of the first bands that really got me into emo, especially second wave like sdre, promise ring, appleseed cast and texas is the reason. ive never been able to find anything to scratch that same itch.

I hate this type of emo, the SDRE/Mineral vein that's super lethargic, singer caterwauls with no real melody in mind, I find it almost offensive that this is the stuff people suck off instead of the more Jawbox-influenced stuff

Great recommendation, great album so farI know it's very typical with emo bands, but it's so sad how so many flew under the radar during their tenure
