How do you deal with different point of view in songs you like, e.g: I like Blink-182's song - Stay together for the kids and I also like Outkast - Hey ya.Whilst the first song begs for the parents don't break their marriage in order to brought open and nurture children in a safe state of mind, Outkast's lyrics tell us about the parents point of view, that people shouldn't stay together for the sake of it, social pressure and stuff like that when love is over, past and due.In your opinion who's is in the right and wrong here? I feel conflicted when bopping my head to these songs.
What matters is that the parents prioritize their kids regardless of whether they divorce or not. If parents go off and find another partner and have new kids with the new partner or forces their existing children to live with a step parent, that's pretty much criminal and psychotic behavior.
