I know in some ways here im suffering from success, but every couple weeks i change what my current favourite genre is. And whenever I do I want to fully immerse myself in the culture, learn how to play in that style etc. The problem is Ive been learning jazz for the last year and dont feel as if i can give it up that easily for another genre. When im balls deep into a new obsession i lose motivation to learn jazz. Anyone have experience with this? What did you do - learn both genres, or stick to your original plan. Pentangle and fairport convention are the goats….

>>130498549Id consider myself a slow learner. Things have sped up a bit after getting a teacher tho. If you asked me a year ago to play a cmajor scale i probably couldnt. So all things considered not so bad. You hear stories of people needing to pracrice ridiculous hours every day for years before they are even decent. I do about 1hr when i have work and up to 3 when not working. >>130498673Beautiful song but she looks fat af on the cover....
