Yeah I'm in it too. I have such a deeply ingrained fear of rejection that I don't allow myself to explore the more "cringe" corners of my taste. And then I still listen to fucking weird shit that I could probably never show anyone irl and can barely get this board to talk about, so at least I'm not fully trapped in the taste prison, but still it is frustrating to be aware of the bars without knowing how to get rid of them
