Great album
I haven't listened to it but I have opinions
it's a solid record; on my shot list for AotY 2026
I actually was listening to inferno while playing left 4 dead 2 last night. It fit surprisingly well, they really did just straight up make a "spooky background soundtrack" album

The album isn’t perfect, but I haven’t seen a single wholly negative comment about the album that doesn’t fall back on the same tired cliches that detractors have always used to attack the band. Anons were saying exactly the same thing when TH came out, literally cut&paste criticisms from 13 years ago.

>>130515549TH is a zombie/pandemic movie soundtrack, pretty well done, coherent but not memorable or very enjoyable either. Inferno is a mess, I can't stand any song except tracks 2 and 3, maybe 15. It's 3 songs with a synthwave feel in the middle of found sounds filler and annoying trip-hop/normie pop. The vocal samples "controversy" is just the cherry on top.

its obvious by some posts this is the first boards of canada album for a lot of people. this is like a compilation album of the best sounds boards of canada ever produced. theres some geogaddi, tomorrow's harvest, music has the right to children, campfire all rolled into one. newcomers could never understand.
