i listen to a lot of classical music, but i'm not a fan of opera
unless it has hot woman lead, then i interest

I have never really found any classical music I enjoy, just nothing about it appeals to me (except one time when I heard the Rite of Spring, though maybe that's not classical)

What is some modern non-classical music you would say is on the compositional level of at least a top classical composer, if perhaps not Mozart/Beethoven/Bach

i stick with western legacy composers but check out any legacy film/vidya/anime composer, particularly john williams, nobuo uematsu, and the likes (i avoid any hollywood composers who peaked from the 21st century onward, they just make the same old minimalist/zimmeresque slop)

i also enjoy me some indie composers like brunuhville and ernesto cortazar, but i don't consider them the same league

actually, it's worth checking out tango/classical composer astor piazolla; i think he's your best bet

>rite of spring
is classical, just not common practice
