Hey /mu/, I made this interactive map to help navigate through metal subgenres and find new bands.It’s obviously not a complete encyclopedia of every single band ever, it’s just meant to be a clean tool for people trying to get into the genre or explore branches they usually skip.Right now each genre has around 50 representative bands with their discographies, and some icons to highlight the essential stuff.Let me know what you think of the layout or if I missed anything major. Feedbacks appreciated.
I appreciate the effort but if people want to learn about metal they should just go to deathmetal.org
pretty cool. design wise it needs some non-cringe metal aesthetics
