This album is healing /mu/.
Enough already
There's nothing to heal. This board is full of people who weren't even here when it was good and have no idea what it used to be. Like roaming barbarians moving into the ruins of a great civilization that died before they arrived.
>>130524006It is well and truly dead. Every board has had a serious drop off but this one is the most depressing for me.
>>130525544Emily Armstrong
>>130523678jokes and stuff around kid that's enougha shitty album no one cares about anymore. Especially people who actually paid for it.
>>130525593as one of the people who paid for it (got my vinyl yesterday!), I regret nothing and am happy if not outright proud to have attracted the scorn of the insecure.it's a great record.
>>130524006True
I've put it on a few times but each time it just fades into the background and I forget that I'm listening to BoC and not one of the ten billion other downtempo artists or just someone typing "chill beats" into suno
>>130529027Tard
>>130529027filtered
How many more threads will it take...
>>130529813We need to hear from Scaruffi before knowing for sure.
>>130530048He hates this trash band
>>130529027It’s too vocal-heavy and the mix is too loud on most songs to be effective background music imo. I can read while listening to their earlier stuff but not this.
>>130530239Pretty good for his standards, you dumb nigger
>>130529813Divisive usually means it’s good. But it took TH 13 years to become good, and only because they finally released a new album for us to hate
BoC stole all its production and mastering tricks from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45rT8G0dG-Q
>>130524006It's more like a temporary painkiller because I I believe unc-status oldtimers have returned to /mu/ temporarily to discuss Inferno (myself included). We'll be gone soon after the initial hype though because this board has got so much worse since we left. Maybe we'll meet again 13 years later.
>>130531964I'm 37 and I've been on 4chan since 2005. I'm here forever, bud. Tourists should never come here.
>>130531964I'm 37 and I've been on 4chan since 2005. I'm here forever, bud.
>>130531971I'm 32 and started browsing /mu/ since 2006 until 2017 when I decided to turn my life around. I feel spiritually connected to 4chan since it was so formative for me while growing up. But I know this place is bad for me and I only return on special occasions like a new BoC album. Even though I'm here now and may sound like a hypocrite: Leave this place if you want to improve your life.
Let’s fucking go
>>130523678IBM, that's what they call it "Intelligent Beat Music". How fuggin grey is that, IBM, really? Huh. Well, I'm a guy, simple kinda of guy hear me out. I've been listening to Inferno on all mediums, mostly on the phone at work cos I work 40hrs while I'm outside doing work. Intuition tells me something monumental is being revealed yet simple when I listen to Inferno. I'm not gonna watch reaction videos. I'm not gonna give a shit about what anons have to say on the subject, tards and such, unless they got a hook and if I'm not tired from work I'll bite. I'll say this, Inferno, listening non-stop, it gains steam, STEAM, every time I listen to it. I don't see this ride burning out anytime soon, this is something incredibly special, IBM, yeah, huh, OK, kek. There are signs of Intelligence out there, this is surely that sign. I'm absolutely certain of it. This album is eerily tapped into a zeitgeist of feeling that is looming around the shiatzu trapped in an overwhelming cage of ad infinite web of thoughts seeking balance, comfort, and peace of mind. There's levels to this stuff. If you're still reading this>I T I S a B o U t i m e
>>130532181>not playing the canvas videos
I listened to 10 better and newer albums since this slop came out.
>>130532784Name them
Only Boards of Canada to slightly ressurrect this breathing-through-devices board
>zoomers filtered>poptimists seething>fantanodrones utterly befuddled /mu/core bros we are so back
Does anyone listen to this other than retards trying to benchmark their $2000 audiophile grade network switches?
>>130533669Can you not afford a nice soundsystem?
>>130524006 #Hey, I quit /mu/ in 2011 when music was definitely waning and the insufferable KPOP threads were using impossible invisible unicode to go around all my filters but I found 4chan in 2006 and have been lurking Inferno threads every chance I can get away from work and agree it’s like when /mu/ was more fun.
>>130532741I agree with you, I was thrown by the very straightforward vocal samples and at first did feel like there was too few melodic tracks but it’s basically all I’ve been listening to wherever I drive and it grew on me more than anything has in a long time and I’m just glad they gave us it. They were on some Lavender Town shit for sure this time, I agree with the people likening it to a Hell Interface side.
>>130523678I have to say this album may have the coolest song titles on the same album ever. I haven't listened too it yet because it seemed like /mu/core.
>>130525593Reactions to this album sure have become a lot more negative since Fatguano shidded a 6 on it. It's almost like a significant amount of posters don't actually listen to the music they post about, or don't understand it, or simply have so little agency even within their own reckoning that they have to wait to be told what to think and how to feel. But surely that couldn't be the case, right?
>>130535215Fucking melon
>>1305302395.5 for CAMPFIRE HEADPHASE?…. careful, Scruffy, you go too far.
>>130535210I still think their coolest song title and the coolest song title ever by extension is "You Could Feel The Sky"
>>130523678I can't believe there was a time when I didn't like the album art. That huge fucking text is stunning
>>130535267>Pass user since 2012Wait, they had 4chan passes back in 2012? For some reason I thought those were introduced in 2018 or something
