Saw napalm death and crowbar on the last tour last year. Crowbar was mid, kirk just doesnt have the energy, the notes are all there, but the riffs were eh
Napalm death killed it tho.
Also a terrible 'grind' band opened for them with a blonde barbie chick as the vocalist and yeah thats the only gimmick they had.
Going to a couple of slow metal/psych rock fests this year, gonna be fun

Look at that dude chillin on his anime body pillow. I went to a local metal show last week. It was pretty weird because the guitarist kept trying to tell people to start moshing for some reason but no one was into it at all. I always say every concert is a new experience.

I went to a festival in my state a couple years ago. Shit sucked. The whole place was a dustbowl. Rained most of the weekend, Stone Temple Pilots were the headliner and they had to play a shortened set because of a weather delay. The Wallflowers were the other headliner and they were pretty good but it wasn't worth camping out on Tattooine for

Samantha Fish she rocked
Nice Claypool Gold is my next ticket
>>
boomers always told me Eagles was the best concert in the world, and I always thought "whatever you've probably been to 10 concerts".
but I went and they were right.
Joe Walsh in particular is incredible, and very funny.

Thundercat

3 incredible musicians but the zoomer crowd was a touch lame - put the damn phones away and groove

Last was a local festival that SUCKED ASS.

Best was Linkin Park last year where I went by accident more or less and got scalped for the ticket price, because I'm a fucking retard. One of the best concerts I ever went to though. There's something to be said about years of experience on stage.

my bad I misread "last" as "best"

Did you leave with all your blood still inside you?

Field Medic. It was pretty good but he was playing a bunch of his more obscure stuff on purpose, which was kinda disappointing.

Yes also Antiseen is playing a few towns over tomorrow but I have no one to go with since all my friends are busy and I don't really want to go alone although I might get some balls and just do it.
>>
Three days ago I went to the back alley of a tattoo parlor to record some local and Utahn artists. Turned out pretty good. Gotta put the tracks together
>>
I don't go to concerts because I value my hearing. Kinda hard to enjoy music if you can't hear well.
>>
>>130528651
earplugs work just fine
>>
>>130528651
Yeah i hate it that all my favorite musicians are now all deaf and dont make any more music
>>
>>130528676
Yeap. Drummers suffer the worst, then whoever is closest to the drummer.
>>
>>130528729
I was being sarcastic retard
Wear goddamn earplugs

Melvins at a beach in New Jersey. To this day they put on a killer show, 2 drummers is a funny choice though. In classic spirit a solo boomer wriggled his way to front and when people around him realized he tricked his way up there the other boomers threw a fit and made security escort him back, i was just standing one row back from front (no seats) but I did see it all go down

It's too much of a bother. It only works if you actually know the decibel level of the show. If a venue is responsible, they would set a hard limit. Most of the time they don't really give a fuck, and often the performing acts mask sucking with loudness, so you leave with fucked ears and thinking the show was good.
>>
>>130528760
Goddamn fine then i wouldnt want an autistic freak like you at any show i go to anyways jeez
>>
>>130528759
>he tricked his way up there the other boomers threw a fit
I dont think it was just that. Smells of something yucky desu.
Also yeah saw melvins earlier this year, it was rifftastic.
>>
>>130528801
>>130528759
hell yeah melvinsbros. saw them a year ago with coady + dale dual drums. Wish Jared would join and bring it all the way back to '08 but he's committed to Unwound and dual bass doesn't sound as appealing.
>>
>>130529260
and yea napalm death and weedeater were there too but the venue sound blew chunks and i wanted to [redacted] coatsy for that shit. He low-key might've gotten fired for that one
