At least post their popular album
>>130544700Name (1) bad song from their entire discography
>>130544734Whatever the fuck this ishttps://youtu.be/ZoUgqwMX9oo
>>130544912okay that's (1). Thread over. Pack it up boys.
People like youYou live in a dream worldYou despise the outside and you fear the next oneIt's in your dreamThere's just one questionShould I killOr should I be left behind?Sick and tiredOf all your complaintsThis is the hourWe bring it downI've come to realizeWith every little glimpse you fadeI was told that I could flyWhen least expectedCloud connectedYou seem to beSo introvertedHow come we fail with all that is givenYou crossed the lineYou remember my nameTime runs backwards as we're heading that wayI've come to realizeWith every little glimpse you fadeI was told that I could flyWhen least expectedCloud connected(Cloud connected)I've come to realizeWith every little glimpse you fadeI was told that I could flyWhen least expectedCloud connected
>>130544912Oh lmao, i managed to totally forget about the whole Album. Fuck you for reminding me. I thought In Flames was over and selling out to mainstream with I am the Mask. But then Foregone dropped and It was surprisingly good again
>>130544617I got into them late at come clarity (I was 12yo at the time) but it’s hard to find a bad one. Some I didn’t like initially but they grew on me eventually. There is not a single bad song on Colony or Clayman. On R2R I never got into Transparent, but barely listened to it. Not a single bad one on STOYE. Not a single bad one on Come Clarity. Also not a really bad on ASOP, although they started to sound different. On SOAPF you can argue that Liberation is lame and The Puzzle and Ropes meh at best. Also there was one song with an off-puttinf disco beat in the background but I forgot wich one it was. Any bad (or better uninteresting skippable) stuff starts on the second half of siren charms and in the following albums. Battles was forgettable and I am the Mask cringe at points. Only Wallflower and I am above somewhat memorable. I didn’t listen enough yet to the new Album, but I remember it was good again. Foregone.1 fucking slaps!>Name (1) bad song by them>>130544912 Nailed it. This is THE bad song. There are probably more somewhat bad ones on I the Mask or Battles. But not bad enough to be remembered as bad.
>>130544617One bad song? They have whole ALBUMS that suck. Like when they tried to be Linkin Park and play kiddy metal
>>130544617>melodeath>good>ever
>>130544617Every song made after Come Clarity
>>130544617Mogged by Dark Tranquility>>130547126Go back to your shitty general
>>130544617everything post whoracle
>>130547019>>130547197>everything must always sound the same or its badFuck you. A sense of purpose was a good Album.
>>130547197Their last album was decent
Everything after the first track on Lunar Strain sucked
>>130547268The re-recording on Colony is better than the original
>>130547268Lmao I knew there are some contrarians who think only their first album is good
>>130547308nta but its their best, followed by jester race ez
>>130547347It definitely doesn't sound anything like their other albumsI would be curious how a re recording of a whole album would sound but considering how awful the remade versions of Clayman songs were I really don't think I want to hear one
I've never been able to get into gothenburg bands. At The Gates and In Flames have a few decent earlier albums but then it just turns into carnival metal.
>>130547639>carnival metalDark Tranquillity turn into goth metal though
>>130547676I don't think I've ever heard a full dark tranquility album. I got about 3 or 4 songs into their debut before dropping it.
>>130547693that one sounds quite different from their other albums and had a different vocalistAre there any notable bands besides DT and In Flames who ended up swapping their vocalists?
The only song I’ve heard from them was Take This Life and the intro was an immediate turnoffShould I give this band another chance?
>>130547960That's one of their most mainstream songs
>>130544617In this album 0, their best album.>>130544912I filter the albums Battles and I the Mask from my head, the only decent song I can remember from one of them is Like Sand.
I have enjoyed Soilwork more than In FlamesThey don't have the highs of Jester Race or Colony but their discography is more consistent
>>130547738And now original In Flames members have formed the Halo Effect
