I guess it's between Jane or Underscores, but they've both got their own thing going enough where I wouldn't really say that.
I was not into what happened to hyperpop once gecs came along, most of the soundcloud shit didn't work for me, but both Jane and Underscores have both made some shit that I think is truly great. People just decide they don't like a genre and ignore everything without looking at shit on a per-artist level, Jane has taste.

idk I liked Ringtone. I don't dislike gecs on the grounds that most people do, I actually respected what they were doing and thought it was refreshing conceptually, but their taste just didn't align with mine generally. I lived through the whole hollywood undead / brokencyde scene kid "trash" music era and didn't like it then, so I had no positive nostalgia for the type of shit they were pulling from. When stuff like Sophie or PC music was 'hyperpop' I was down for it, didn't really connect with what gecs was doing, but I am finding some enjoyment through where it's been heading
