>have a dream about The Beatles>they start playing all their old bangers>wow I remember these, great songs>wake up>wait those weren't beatles songs, those songs don't exist>quickly forget themHow do I unlock the creativity I have when I'm asleep when I'm awake. This is bullshit
>>130572986>have a dream about The Beatlesgay, that's on par with having a dream about NSYNC/one direction. doesn't help that this board hated them back then
>>1305730095 years
>>130573193That's all we've got
>>130572986There already are worthy successors to The Beatles within the boy band genre (One Direction, et al), I would recommend bleaching your hair or practicing your breakdancing if you want to join one
>>130575247How are they comparable?
>>130572986Most likely you are distorting existing songs in your mind as dreams are your brain subconciously processing experiences. My best songs came from taking an existing melody from a different song and forcing it into a different chord structure or tempo until it isn't recognizable anymore. If you want to sound like Beatles specifically, get rid of your preconcieved notions of having a distinct verse and chorus and instead make a song that blends that all together. I think that's why you can listen to them a million times without getting bored.
>>130575473I find many commonalities as a fan of both, "more to enjoy" I always say
>>130575511Elaborate
>>130572986That happens to me too.And no I don't have an answer, I'm really bad at playing music by ear
>>130575517I enjoy upbeat pop music that reminds me of my childhood
