I never understood how Linkin Park became so popular. It was some of the shallowest music about angst and depression ever written. And then that fucking selfish idiot kills himself years later. Evidentially, even after attaining global success with your band and gaining unfathomable financial security for writing and performing half-assed and totally forgettable music, then becoming a father of six children and enjoying what was apparently a prosperous second marriage to a fucking model - well in the end, it doesn't even matter! They were Johnny come latelys who basically capitalized on the succus of earlier Nu metal and "alt" metal bands, by making something even more bland and innoffensive. They are the PRIME defintion of what zoomies call "coworker" music. I can't tell you how many times I've talked to a toothless, boring person and there favorite fucking band was Lincoln Park.
