Simple. Commercial. But I enjoy how it sounds.Decent hard rock album.
The crowd really digs Lux Aeterna. Had a lot of fun when it came on.

>>130582502Metallica were so good, then they got brain damage and this sent their fans into a cope spiralIts over
>>1305825023 or 4 good songs. There's one they played live I nearly fell asleep to though. Think it was You Must Burn
I recently learned that "hard rock" purists were a thing. Anyone know what they think about the black album?
>>130582502Honestly, it's better than megadork's last album where the best song was the Metallica song.
>>130584959That album was actually better than this one
>>130584959Lars pls go
>>130584266I see these all the time. It's either boomers refusing to accept that they listen to metal because they have some kind of stigma and hatred towards metal or it's extremefags that think anything that's not extremeslop is hard rock. I remember seeing boomers calling Def Leppard Wasted as Hard rock when it has all the hallmarks of NWOBHM.
Do you think Metallica drew any influence from Load, Reload, and St. Anger in their last three albums? They're clearly trying to recapture the style of their first five albums, but some of their latest songs sound similar to the rest of their discography.
>>130582502>horrendous album cover >only a few good songs >James recycling riffs again Yup, definitely checks out as a Metallica record post Black Album. Kek. They should just stop making records all together and just coast.
>>130585863Im still waiting for their funk metal album, cmon trujillo do smth
>>130585863>>James recycling riffs again >Yup, definitely checks out as a Metallica record post Black Album.Never conposed a song award
>>130586531>cmon trujillo do smthDo you realize what band we are talking about? Only bassist that had input in the band was Cliff.
