Sam fucking won

They're both completely talentless hacks. Hyde is an artistic failure and perverted plagiarist turned political grifter freak. Fantano is a useless rock critic whose whole claim to fame is just first movers advantage. They're both useless people and any drama between the two is irrelevant

Sam was actually fucking funny at one point. Thats the difference. Sam actually had a little bit of talent and creativity. Fantano was always a massive hack, he wasn't funny, wasn't insightfull, didn't really know that much about music, had really surface level taste in pretty much everything, only talked about entry level shit.
It's ironic that both him and Sam ended up becoming political grifiters (you conveniently left that out anon) of opposite sides.

Fantano is political, but it isn't that relevant to his schtick, he can keep milking his formula regardless of his politics. Sam is a completely political entity, he has no relevance whatsoever without the rightoid grift. Sam was somewhat funny and interesting back in 2014, when you were in high school. Who cares, it was just a bunch of edgelord nihilistic garbage and a T&E ripoff in retrospect. Him projecting his resentment and failures as a professional onto that wine drinking guy, or bullying Anime nerds, aged like milk in the current year

MDE was way funnier than Tim and Eric in everyway.
I disagree honestly. I think he could still make comedy, and do stuff with Nick and Charls regardless of politics. He'd probably have certain opportunities open to him within the edgier side of mainstream comedy if he cooled down the political stuff.

It was funnier cause you were a jaded nihilistic high schooler at the time and it resonated with you more
>>
>>130587801
You know nothing about me you broccoli-headed faggot.
I wasn't jaded or nihilistic. That wasn't what attracted me to his work. I also wasn't a teenager, I was in my mid 30s when World Peace aired.
Fantano's political grifting is a huge part of his public persona. His social media feed is literally all him sperging out about politicis. The music he reviews is mainly by artists who align with his politics. He's deleted old reviews (Like his Deathspell Omega video) Fantano was never interesting or unique. He always copied Pitchfork, or the culture of this board. As someone who's been immersed in the music world since before you're parents were fucking, I think I can speak on this.
