"reddit" ablums or bands you actually like
>>130592188Wide Awake is their reddit album
>>130592251this one too, redditor
>>130592294The first one is really good and is arguably forgotten /mu/core. What makes this one reddit?
>>130592188They have their fair share of flop albums but they really are a force to be reckoned withhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZwr511qGoYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEADUm6qkYYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVrxd7YZ_Nghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJ73CrTSg8Ahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxe3V-06UAUAll from the same band over the past 10 years is insane
Is Rush considered Reddit?
>>130594324Its hilarious how quickly /mu/ did a 180 on this band as soon as they became remotely popular. These guys were beloved here 10 years ago.
>>130594349...no? Who the fuck would think of prog-lite with an average listener age of 60 "reddit"?
>>130592188I've literally never heard anyone call Parquet Courts a Reddit band. To me "Reddit band" is shit like Weezer and TMBG
>>130595684They’re redditlite. I still like this album though.
>>130592188picrel
>>130592188late muse feel reddit-y but that doesn't bother me
>>130594456This is how I know we're losing the Old Ways. Rush were one of the premier Reddit bands that old /mu/ would hate with a passion because of that. Pure dork rock. Pretty much all prog was relegated to some specific threads, and pretty much all nu-prog but The Mars Volta. Coheed and Cambria were divisive for the same reason. For the record, both are good, but Rush definitely hit the "le wrong generation" thing that Reddit was big on in the old times (and that /mu/ and the endless grandpa-rock posting have seem to have taken up)>>130592251wide awake was proto-/mu/core before the /pol/ spillover fully took effect bud
>>130592188If you consider black midi to be Reddit, definitely them. I fuckin love black midi and greep
